P2P and NICS Issue

Hi all,

 

I have a pistol permit that expires on Thursday with no extensions left. I just purchased a pistol on Monday and based on how NICS is going it may not be approved until Thursday or Friday. 

Am I SOL if NICS doesn’t get done until Friday? FFL made it seem like a non issue.

If NICS was submitted on Monday you should be approved by tomorrow. If it goes past your expiration date, you are SOL. You would have to apply for some new permits. Good luck.

If I get approved Thursday but can’t pick up the pistol physically until Friday is that ok too?
