  1. TonyRingtail is his username. Told him and our friend Zack during a BBQ I was interested in getting my FOID so they gave me an in-house gun safety course then brought me down to the range by Zack's place down in Delaware to give it a try. Since I enjoyed myself Tony pointed me to this website for any help he may not have the answer to like any changes to the gun laws and stuff like that he isn't aware of. Wow, talk about lurker. Registered but hasnt posted.... once. =P But we are glad to have you guys here and provide you with the info and a doze of comedy relief.
  2. welcome. =) smart friend. who is it ?
  3. I personally do not like 40sw.... tooo high compression in that round. with a wonder plastic pistol, it just sucks. the only 9mm must have really is a Browning Hi power. at least for me. CZ nice to have. HK nice to have. 9mm bhp is a must have. 1911, must have.. I drank the cool aid..i need a 1911 9mm sw pro series.. even considering selling cz. lol. personally, I like the 9mm round. would be nice to pickup another oddball... but 45gap fits the bill nicely. although am looking at the fn's 5.7
  4. Is that what phil was showing us? yes
  5. I use a nice backpack I have...
  6. take a look at the FN 5.7 caliber. milspec, it reaches 2900 fps, civilian, up to 2400.
  7. About freemasons and history... looks really really good.
  8. nice... is there a price to it? seems like all of the manuf are trying to come out with an ar alternative per say.... I wonder when HK will release a 22lr.
  9. What car club is this?
  10. welcome... hehe, yeah, NY had NJ beat there, NYC still does, but NJ is giving you guys a run for your money.
  11. why wouldnt you load rifle on a 650 or a 550? I know the square deals dont... but if you had a 550/650... would you still load rifle on a single stage press?
  12. personally, I think it would be nice to have open season on canadian geese... too bad the public cant get in on it yet. deer are just dumb... they cant help but to run out on the road. geese, they just attack.
  13. How ironic... would be worse if it was life insurance. c7d85T4OfqA I can use this though... MJ, Charlie's Angel, BM, just shows you, need to have enough coverage and protection for your family, crap can hit the fan.
  14. seriously? never ate deer. Here is the kicker... I would love to go hunt deer, or duck.... but what do you do with the kill? I dont eat deer or duck for that matter.
  15. dang, forgot all about this one.... argh! i soooooo wanted to go.
  16. Some more details... and an interesting quote. http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/06/2 ... index.html He reported that he got him on the head from things falling on the plane. Same thing as that woman who fell skiing and died of a brain bleed?
  17. he just saw you had NJGF up and posted pictures of the savage... he wanted to get a look in.
  18. chad, do you use shamwows at your car wash? I saw one place do it... =P
  19. yeah, i think no matter, even if they did get into an accident, it gives him no right to draw his firearm..... as firearms 101, you have the right to use it in self defense. Unless the guy is purposely trying to kill you with his car, the douche who drew took it way to the extreme and should be punished. there is a big difference between wishing something, and actually doing it. here is one more to think about.... lets say you are the guy that cut him off..... you do accidently, the guy passes you, blocks you, gets out of the car and draws on you..... you yourself have a CCW, do you draw back and kill the guy? the whole point is, just because you have a gun, doesnt mean you should use it.
  20. bumper stickers we can make. we just have tshirts for now... If there is enough interest... will have them done. fairly cheap too.
  21. this just means that the shamwow guy will have more commercials to do.
  22. I love my evil stepchild of an xd.... only problem I had with it, is that it was a rust bucket. sent it in, got refinished. the slide stop is a very weak point in a lot of pistols, when I can, instead of dropping the slide release lever, I pull the slide back a bit, and then gently drop the slide, controlling its release. if using just the release, can put a lot of stress on it.
  23. holy my.... talk about a week/weekend. MJ at 50, Billy Mays at 50... and he was on that plane too. What was that movie about trying to cheat death? I would make a joke that no more annoying oxyclean commercial or anything, but it is just wow. this is the guy that played on tool time right?
