  1. My son loves their stuff. Great company.
  2. I'd like a flip to side mount. Can you post ordering info? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Any still available? I just saw this post and would like to get an XPS2-2.
  4. Ditto. It's on my definite-list. .22lr may be hard to find, but even at ridiculous prices it's cheaper than FNH 5.7. And I've always liked the P90 (Stargate SG-1, FTW!) When I win the Powerball, I'll buy a real one.
  5. I have a mix, but prefer the MidwestPX 15/20s. I plan to try the cutdowns, though, since they can be opened and cleaned. Sent from my communicator using Tapatalk
  6. Me likey, very nice. What comp is that?
  7. Haven't tried it. What's it like?
  8. I've ordered a couple of things from DVOR, but never had to deal with their customer service. I will say their shipping is SLOOOOOOOOOWWWWW.
  9. Just pinned mine yesterday using a trigger guard roll pin.
  10. About $600. Tactical Solutions uppers are a bit spendy, but very high quality and accurate. Someone just looking for a fun .22lr AR may be better off getting a S&W M&P 15-22.
  11. Finished my dedicated .22lr build today. Not wild about the hand guard (I may just add grip tape), and I'll be making other changes in the future, but for now she weighs just 5 pounds, 15 ounces! (I know, no gas system, etc.) AB Arms handguard, New Frontier complete polymer lower, Tactical Solutions AR-22 M-4 upper, Troy rear folding battle sight, and I forget what grip and comp I used. Yes, needed a comp because the upper came with a flash hider. Maybe I'll make the colors match someday.
  12. Common sense is breaking out all over! Unbelievable ruling in California: http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/02/13/huge-win-for-gun-owners-in-california/
  13. Mine says it should be delivered tomorrow. We'll see how this weather affects that.
  14. It may be just an amicus brief this time, but at least the NRA has turned an eye toward our plight. NRA gets behind NJ man's lawsuit challenging state's gun carry restrictions Not sure how much weigh it will carry in this forsaken state, but it's a start.
  15. I was very interested in one, but then... I've handled one and it was quite comfortable and, like Vlad G says, it's bigger than you may think. Definitely not a pocket gun, it's about the size of a 1911 Commander. TTAG has a good review: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/02/foghorn/gun-review-remington-r51/
  16. This ^^ I have two if these in standard size and one XL. Well made (even though I'm leary of the plastic hardware, it hasn't failed me), with plenty of pockets. The XL is my USPSA bag - I carry everything I need for a day of competition, plus two water bottles and lunch.
  17. Talo. Just looks sharp
  18. Yup, valid points. I wanted the 16" anyway, so...
  19. I found the article about the compliant Tavors: http://www.outdoorhub.com/news/new-iwi-us-ban-compliant-od-green-tavors-9mm-conversion-kits-accessory-line/ " "The TSB18RS is offered for residents of Massachusetts and New Jersey. It utilizes an 18-inch barrel with a non-removable two-inch muzzle brake, yielding an overall length of 30 inches. It is also supplied with a 10-round magazine."For me, the mags are not an issue, I have a bunch of 15s, so one 10-rounder won't hurt. As long as dealers don't jack it up beyond the +$50 IWI is charging for compliancy (ha ha), it's worth it. Can't get a decent brake and have it installed for $50, and I don't have the tools/expertise to do it myself.
  20. Thanks for all the advice! I understand IWI is planning on making green Tavors as well as ban-state compliant models.
  21. I went on Wednesday and enjoyed it. For me it was a great chance to handle a multitude of different firearms, talk to some dealers, and get a tip on fixing one of my handguns. Plus, I've picked out the tonneau cover for my truck bed (Diamondbacks). FWIW - the Beretta ARX 100 feels really awkward to hold and the backup sights suck. The rear sight is a big disk, almost like what the eye doc uses to check your eyes. OTOH, the Remington R51 feels great in my hand and is on my list for a carry gun. Also got to handle some Tavors, which feel very comfortable, and play with Rossi levers and Circuit Judges. R92 is in my near future now!
  22. Like the title says. Prices being the same, which do you prefer and why? Both are bullpups that use AR mags and both seem to be sweet, sweet rifles. Thanks!
