  1. +2 Hank is the man! He does great custom work and is always willing to do cheap Transfers for everyone in the area. He also has a good selection of supplies and ammo at his disposal. Like TheDon said, he's not the cheapest, but he provides you with good service that is sometimes worth paying for. I don't purchase new guns from him, but transfers, supplies, and gunsmithing...he's my go-to guy.
  2. They can be operated independently of each other depending on the setting you have it on. You can have it for light only, laser only, laser and light, laser with flashing light (150 lumens flashing), laser flashing and solid light, etc... The 100 lumens is very bright, and the 150 strobe is BLINDING...It will fit the glock 32 perfectly as well. Thanks for the compliments!
  3. Just got it to fit even tighter next to the trigger guard by using the second screw hole adjustment...even sweeter than before!
  4. What's up everyone. I just got my Viridian C5L today and thought I would take some pics. Picked this up from Cabela's and used the $20 off coupon. Arrived in 5 days. The Cabela's inventory is Real-Time, meaning if you put it in your shopping cart and it says "in-stock"; it will ship. Otherwise they have been on back-order everywhere and even at Cabela's. Optics planet says they are 3 weeks out. They fit all subcompact pistol models and they have flashing laser and light settings. I really like this laser/light as it doesn't stick past the barrel at all and I can use my LARGE style backstrap instead of going with the Crimson Trace route. Plus you get a light of the deal for nearly the same price! Definitely the best accessory I have purchased for any firearm to date... http://www.viridiangreenlaser.com/catal ... ucts_id=77
  5. Usually you have to pick them up when they call you and let you know they are finished...
  6. No other pistol feels as good in my hand as an M&P...The trigger is easy for me to use, but could be better. Upgrade kits exist for all triggers and they are even offered by the Smith and Wesson pro-shop in Springfield, MA.
  7. ^^^ I noticed his grip too...that's pretty interesting. I never saw anyone shoot like that before...
  8. Tony from TJ is the BEST! Best prices I have ever found in NJ and just good all around guys! I highly recommend them for the XD compact as I was able to hold it when i was there last week picking something up. I have purchased from them twice and both transactions were flawless... -On a side note, that XD sub-compact is brand spankin' new and it felt nice in the hand.
  9. I have the M&P 40c and I LOVE it! I after shooting many other pistols, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Never had a single issue with it and it feels perfect in your hand.
  10. What do you guys expect? That was in England. That is the same place and reason why the founding fathers made rule number 2 in the first place; because they knew that the government over there wanted to do that a long time ago. The Police also don't have guns there either...
  11. It shoots really nicely in .40 S&W...I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. It shoots clean as well.
  12. Here's Mine! I have the Mossberg Maverick 88 security with a Mossberg Heat Shield and Authentic Mossberg carbon-fiber grip. The Pistol grip shotgun is effective if you know how to shoot it. The full synthetic is better to use if space permits. I use both when I go to the range and overall efficiency is best with the full stock. You just have to practice no matter what you choose to go with.
  13. I have a Black Leather Galco IWB Summer Holster shipped by Smith and Wesson with the M&P Logo on it below: And a Fobus Evolution Holster for hanging around the house or at the PA Range... So far, I LOVE them both! They are for my M&P .40 compact.
  14. OK, where do I begin...I only have the $130 single membership, and I am allowed to bring one guest for free everytime I go (so wife shoots for free all the time). The .40 S&W ammo at Hagues in American Eagle IS $25 WITH DISCOUNT! I don't shoot 9mm... The distance between my house and Hague's is actually more than going across the bridge...Meaning I would spend more on Gas going to Hague's. I shoot about once a week meaning I would pay about $200 for the year on tolls. That would bring me up to $330 which is STILL cheaper than Hauges...And I wouldn't have to put up with being hot as hell in the summer and cold as hell in the winter...I can also shoot any type of ammo I want in my guns so I don't have to buy anything from the range, but their prices on ammo are so good that its an added plus. I also wouldn't have the people at Hague's paying attention to my every move while I am in the Range (which is Priceless in my opinion). I guess if you are close to Hague's it may be beneficial, but the person who started this thread wanted to know why people don't like the place, so I just gave some personal experience advice that I believe MOST of NJ people should follow...But Like you said, to each his own. Everyone can't get it right...otherwise there would be no wrong! I don't know what I was thinking! The bridge from NJ to PA is only $2 (Palmyra). So that would mean that my place is cheaper than Hague's by over $100 per year without even mentioning gas and time savings. I've been shooting there for a month now and I couldn't be happier with all my experiences. I still get to shoot ever time I walk in without waiting. Also, since it is in PA, I am allowed to holster while inside the facility. The renewal fee for each additional year is also only $100 while Hague's is still like $300. My advice to everyone would be to just try every range out and see which one is best for you. I'm not going to say anything about Hague's anymore except see for yourself.
  15. I have shot a few hundred rounds through my M&P .40 Compact and it feels excellent. It fits perfectly in the hand and feels better than almost all the other guns out there. No FTF or FTE's. Everything I shot threw it gave me no problems. It is very accurate for me as well. I definitely like them better than the XD's. I have the compact with the pinky extensions and I couldn't be happier. Go for it!
  16. That's funny...I wanted the XD originally too, but then I actually shot it and it just doesn't feel as good and the trigger pull doesn't feel as crisp. I am happy I went with the M&P and I am sure you will be too!

  18. You haven't checked South Jersey range prices recently yourself, have you? The Fort Dix outdoor membership for the whole family is only $100 and single for $60. Every single place in south jersey is cheaper to shoot than that place...Actually, I think they may just be the most expensive range in all of NJ. Also, their prices are a lot more than just $15 a box of 50...I shot there two months ago, and even with 20% off, all of their 50 boxes were still over $20 each. There is really nothing good about that range. It was also HOT AS HELL in that range over the summer. AC must have been broken or something. Everyone else who is in the area that doesn't have a membership at Hague's yet...JUST STAY AWAY!!!
  19. You guys are too funny. That $350 per year is RIDICULOUS!!! I live in Delran, NJ and I have been to Hague's twice now. I can't complain about the people there, but if you go there without purchasing a membership; they really ride and hound you to get one. If you are in this immediate area, it would be worth it for you to check out Delaware Valley Sportsman's Center which is right across the bridge in Philly. It only takes me 30 minutes to get there (35 minutes to get to Hague's) and the membership for the year is only $130 single/$180 Family. You can shoot any ammo you want from shotguns and handguns. Their own ammo prices are a full $10 cheaper than Hague's. The AA .40 S&W at Hague's is $28 for a box of 50 and its still about $25 after you have your membership (only a 10% discount). At DVSC, its only $17 per box of 50. You can also shoot AR-style rifles as long as you purchase their Ballisticlean ammo which is still cheaper than any Hague's .223 ammo. Everything about that place is just super expensive. And when you are shooting they are all in your business...DVSC has a separate room from the shop which is totally blocked off. There is no supervisor of the range breathing down your neck. You can also holster inside their location. So far everytime I have been there, I am always able to shoot immediately. They also offer very good classes which I see many law enforcement guys taking in the back when I get there on Saturdays. I wouldn't renew my membership at Hague's if I was you...Just too many negatives in my opinion. I'm not saying that my range is perfect, but it is definitely better than that laughable place. I will never go back there again.
  20. You are 100% correct! I have been searching for an excuse to purchase something from them, but every time I check their site, then go to Cabela's, Midway, or sportsmans guide (been shopping with them for about 15yrs now) I ALWAYS find it cheaper. I am actually about to take them off of my favorite link list while I am thinking about it :x
  21. They will let you fire rifles there, but you can't use the FMJ rounds...You have to use the Ballisti-Clean rounds that break apart. So, you can shoot your own rounds, but not the FMJ rounds. No problem for me since I only shoot shotgun and pistol for now...I have shot the AR-15 the last two times I was there, but it belongs to a friend of mine. Their ammo prices are only about a dollar over the Walmart PA prices if you wish to buy ammo there, and the membership for a year was only $130...I don't really know of many places that can beat that with a $100 renewal fee.
  22. I finally bit the bullet today and joined the range named Delaware Valley Sportsman's Center in Philadelphia. It's only about 25 minutes away from my home, and the ammo prices are excellent. They have so many accessories and firearms always in stock and there is always open lanes. If anyone wants to go with me one day, send me a PM. http://www.delawarevalleysportscenter.com/index2.html
  23. I agree with the OP! Midway USA is EXCELLENT wish shipping. I get ground shipping on all my orders and receive my items within 3 days of order placement. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLERS!
