  1. "Offer valid on regularly priced products only" That's the catch. The codes don't work for the things I am buying. Anyway, in the end the discount will be about the same ... thanks
  2. Thanks for clarification on the right model.
  3. thanks, ordered 25 boxes for volume discount.
  4. Actually the goody basket has gone over $500! I tried the coupons at the link, but they aren't working ... when I enter the coupon, the site says applied, but the total doesn't reduce at all. I have removed all clearance items from cart thinking coupons might not work, but no worky! help!!
  5. All good ideas, but she travels by NJ transit train and NYC subway (improved, by still a sh**-h***). The trains although seemingly safe, are in fact bad when it isn't a rush hour. No donuts served ... all aboard!! The only choice is concealed carry, but that may be impossible to get. Dammit.
  6. I meant to say I plan to buy the "Adams Arms Complete 5.45x39 16" Piston Upper" that comes w/ a A2 FH. So, which compensators are NJ legal that are not deafening loud? Anyone with experience with few varieties would help! I may plan to ship my upper to ADCO to get A2 FH removed and a new one pinned, or get it done locally.
  7. So, from what I am reading here, A2 style is a FH? I wanted to buy this, but now I may not because it has a A2 FH!! :x OTH, could buy it and then replace the A2 with something that's legal?
  8. Who makes non-corrosive 5.45x39 rounds? The attraction of this round is it's cheaper (than 5.56/233), but if it's corrosive then it's not for me. I hate to clean and water wash to remove the salts! Isn't there a domestic market for non-corrosive ammo? It would be consumed by civilians only, so there is no competition for ammo from the military (like the 5.56) I am considering getting a Saiga in 5.45x39 or a Tantal that's designed for this round.
  9. If you are interested, I have a Taurus PT940 SS in .40S&W. My first pistol, and I didn't try it before I bought it. Maybe 200 rounds through it. Now, I find taller grips and full-size pistols better suited for my hands. Trigger work done by gunsmith to smooth it out. This Taurus is a compact-mid size pistol. Looks like in the pic below. I can post real pics if interested. Will sell for $425, or better yet consider a trade (+/- $) for Beretta 92FS / M9 in 9mm.
  10. Nice! Or, Coolio, as my daughter would say :-)
  11. I am not a member there. Who can take me in as guest? I see there is skeet, so would like to try out my used (as yet unfired) Remington 1100. btw. weather.com says scattered thunderstorms between 3-6pm tomorrow ... hopefully, it's minor. Anyway, I could drive up and reach there around 4-5pm. Please PM me if you can get me in as guest and your contact info. thanks!
  12. tuktuk? What kinda name is that? care to enlighten us?
  13. Oh, glad you looked it up! Not comparing, it was just, btw.
  14. NJ is a magnet for the worst lot. At least in NYC they ignore you, here you get attitude and horrendous manners. I am working in Marshall, MN on a project and I feel like I am on another planet! Kinda relaxing, and clean air to boot ...
  15. Nice! Like the wood and thumbhole stock! Questions: - What size scope? magnification, etc. - What brand of side mount for scope? The mount appears a bit forward mounted - that's why I want to know the mount brand. - Do you have a template for the bolt hold open notch? I want to do the same for my Saiga.
  16. Oops! In addition to high rings, needs a riser
  17. Got this scopefrom Amazon. This is my very cheap solution to avoiding red-dot only or scope / magnification only solution. May get a DMS-1 if this proves unsatisfactory. Plan to use it on my Stag-2 flattop. 1" tube, Leupold high rings. Glass is bright and clear, no visible aberrations. Etched glass mil-dot reticle, illuminated Red and Green. Since it's etched in glass (assuming that's true), no risk of reticle coming loose under recoil ... will see. For now, will zero at BA at 25 yards. Will need to go outdoors (Fort Dix next weekend?) to zero at 100 yards.
  18. what the hell was he thinking? Definitely a head-case!
  19. I am looking for midway discount codes (% off or free shipping, whatever) Posted in another thread, but no replies ...
  20. Bump ... no one has come across codes?
