I've also notice it use to be the beginning and the end of the month you'd see cops sitting on the side of the road running radar etc. Now it seems like it's all month long with no specific time of them running speed traps etc. I have also seem them running a lot less DUI checkpoints and opting for other ways of ticketing. Definitely a lot more cops out on patrol these days than 5 or 6 years ago for sure.

Once again taken the completely wrong way which I knew it would with the people of this site. You people are ridiculous. The reason the plate isn't on my car is because someone backed into my car and ripped it off and I haven't repaired the front bumper yet to accept the front license plate. I will start off with saying this post is in no way in a negative to LEO's. Just curious, with all the recent cuts the towns have been making, have your chiefs etc been implying or suggesting that if you pull someone over and they have a good record to still try and find a way to give them a non point ticket but one that costs money. Before the market crashed years ago I use to get pulled over and they wouldn't say a thing. Check my license and on I go. These were the days that I have suped up cars that if they wanted to they could clearly find infractions like (loud muffler, tinted windows, no front plate, etc etc.) Now fast forward to current day and I've been issued the same exact ticket 3 times in the past 6 months. No front license plate. Twice was because I was speeding and the other because I was talking on a cell phone. Obviously all of them are my fault, and I'm grateful I didn't get the speeding or cellphone ticket but just curious if anyone knows if the towns are putting more pressure on them to rake in the money to cover their other expenses. M

For what your going to sink into all that wood etc, why not looking into just doing 8" block filled solid if you know how to do brick/block work. I also agree making the room bigger.

LOL you ask for examples I give you examples and now you don't want to discuss this. Are you the son of one of the old guys on the boards because it sure seems like the same story just a different face. It may not be today or tomorrow, but something is going to happen to that range because of their piss poor planning and when it does, they will have no one to blame but themselves. I really feel bad for my friends in N. Jersey who are stuck here for a long time and have to deal with the bs that goes on at that range.

The reason I'm so hyped up because I'd like to see for once some people in New Jersey to actually get fired up and get some of this crap to change. ANJRPC could be so much more than it currently is. The range has soo much potential that could draw in so many extra people which would in turn would greater their fighting power which only leads to better stuff. Also just because I'm moving out of NJ doesn't mean this doesn't affect me in other ways. If NJ keeps getting more liberal, and NJ bans guns. You got NYC and NJ liberals moving to PA and then complain that they have gun ranges around their homes even though the range has been there for 75 years before the house that they bought. The other reason I'm hyped up is because I hate secrecy beyond words. There is no reason that the member board can not be open to general members. Nor is there any reason that we as members should not be able to see what's going on with our financials. On top of all that, there is absolutely no reason why when big ticket items come up for discussion that it isn't sent out for general members to vote on. I also belong to a sailing club. Every year we vote on several things. Also several times a year we receive in the mail an updated financial sheet stating what we spent our money on, what we plan on spending our money on, and what money we have on at hand for future projects. There is no reason that ANJRPC can't do the same. Don't try to give me a line of ohhh well we need to hide it so people can't see it. That's bull crap. The only reason they hide it is because they want control, just like our very own government wants control. It's pretty bad when the people who are suppose to be fighting for your rights, are doing the same crap that the people they say they despise are doing.
