I guess they are unaware that AP ammo was banned back a long time ago and has bit been brough into the country since 1968 if I remember correctly. So my question is what do they consider armor piercing? Since a .22lr round fired from a rifle can pierce most common BP vests if the impact avoids the shock plate is that now considered armor piercing?

You only need to get a license copy for 22LR and pistol ammo. You cannot ship ammo to every state, No NYC, CHICAGO, MA, WDC and a few others. This is the disclaimer I typically use.

They will always try and send a all matching rifle 1st, typically if something does not match on a Mosin its the magazine box. I have a Molot PU and a M38 on the way, the PU is all matching and I hear that the M38's are beauties.

It looks more like a chunk missing from the bore rather then an obsctrution to me but it may just be the picture. Google eletro bore cleaning , you can make your own it's fairly easy and will remove any build up that may be in there.

After a range session, I will spray down a bore snake with windex and ruin in through a few times. Remove the bolt spray is a bit wipe it down and do the same for the chamer. It only take a quick minute and is good enough to keep any rust from forming from the corrossive primers.

By that logic you would be breaking the law when leavig Dicks with a rifle while walking through the parkig lot? We are not talking walkig around with it slug over your shoulder loaded. In the last month I have met people at gun shop parking lots, parkway rest stops, home depot parking lot, my work parking lot. What your doing it legal so unless you plan on doing a full inspection of the firearm and taking it out of the case and or trunk then you are fine doing it where ever. I would stay away from the Local PD, I find that most local officers do NOT know the nj state gun laws and may mistake your legal transaction for something else.
