I have a savage 340c .222, I am interested in any info on this gun, I have not shot it yet and would like to know what grain bullet to use for varmints nd targets at 50 and 100 yards

Hello all, I am looking to meet up with someone towards the end of the month to shoot at Cherry Ridge. I am not a pistol owner, but a long gun owner. I am looking to join at some point in the near future, but until I get the money, I need to find someone who is a member, and come as a guest. I know this is a big request, I am hoping that the friendly people here can help me out. I have a 30-06 and a .222 I want to take and sight in. Thank you in advance for your kindness. Jeff

I worked as a medic in Paterson, kids out that late are not up to anything good, and unfortunately, these deaths happen way to frequently. It is sad and as bad as the city is, it is only getting worse. I can tell you first hand, there are tons of illegal guns in the city, mostly for drug dealings. I know this because I have looked down the barrel of a .45 one too many times. Either way it is sad that a kid lost his life. Come on parents do your job.

Not sure what my ideal weight should be, But I am 178 now, and in 1981 when I graduated HighSchool, I was 165. SOmewhere in between is where I think I should be. I see a lot of people calling themselves fatass', you are not, you are just under tall!!! But the skinny guys, do you shoot smaller caliber guns? I think big ones would knock you flat... I think the lady is almost the ideal weight??

Question... How does this ammo compare to domestic ammo? Does it shoot as wll in your rifles? I have a Remington 700 30-06, and I am kind of partial to loc core 150gr just curious

I agree NJ609, I am a chef who does not make a lot of money, but a brother in law who works on wall st, does very well, but he works his A_ _ off for it. If we all had the brains and work ethic and college education, we would be on the other side of the fence. So good for them if they make a bonus. I just wish there was a trickle down effect from the Govt. so us middle class workers stop paying the brunt of the tab.

Interesting, A friend of mine, (a nurse) was coming up the Parkway, she was a little drunk too I might add, got to the manned booth, thought she was in a exact change, and threw the money and hit him in the head, he was not amused, and she drove away laughing. Glad I was not there.
