  1. as usual, good price, great guy. I would do business with him again anytime.
  2. it takes two...holy old song! lol
  3. I understand what you're saying, but here's something to think about...what if he never have gone to an FFL and went straight to a private purchase, would he still be accountable if the cops show up at his place? And if he ends up getting in trouble for it, can he sue his PD for approving his permit when they shouldn't have in the first place?
  4. you have a permit to purchase and a driver's license. you should just do a private purchase. The permit is proof that you are allowed to buy a handgun, and a driver's license will show your address matches what's on the permit. that's the extent of the "background check" if you buy privately.
  5. find him and kill him. they can't charge you for killing yourself because you'll be dead... all jokes aside, you should really look into (again) legally changing your name. when was the last time you looked into it? maybe things are easier/better now or maybe a lawyer can help you get rid of this problem once and for all.
  6. does she have a restraining order against you? that may be a reason for denial...
  7. Bryan's wife wants one. maybe you can talk him into it when he picks up the revolver.
  8. i separate my ammo based on caliber, so I use all of the boxes.
  9. 4 years before you can dip into that well again. better off saving that for the big one.
  10. His family will be living there. he'll be dead from a gunshot wound.lol Good thing about this country, we have a lot of dog /pet lovers out there. you'll get at least 1 in a jury pool, and when testifying just say "i thought he was gonna hurt my dog, so i shot the s.o.b. My dog was just trying to protect me, so i did the same!"
  11. don't forget to check BJs or Costco for their DSLR bundles. I checked out my friend's new Nikon J1 (or was it a V1?) and it was small, with interchangeable lenses, and good quality photographs. just remember that having an expensive camera doesn't mean you'll take better pictures. you have to learn how to use an SLR properly to make use of its capabilities.
  12. as a notary, i can tell you that it's better to be safe than sorry. there is a rule that says you must keep a log. have I ever needed to show it to authorities? no. but i'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
  13. Kimber super match II? i'll double that to $600.
  14. arms n ammo has a couple in stock (well, at least according to his website. lol)
  15. rtsp, meltzers, and caso's. i would skip the bullet hole, and don't bother with the big name stores. I'd also skip brick armory...just read some stories about them on this site..
  16. I wonder if you could find an FFL willing to take a chance on buying a gun "off the streets" knowing it could possibly have been used in a crime. That would be money lost for the dealer when the cops take the gun as evidence or when it comes back as a stolen gun and the original owner wants it back.
  17. I thought as soon as you get an FFL involved, a background check will be needed for every transaction going from the seller (FFL) to the buyer (walk-in customer) even on a used gun.
  18. I've always wanted to be picked for a criminal case. Instead, I always get selected for a civil case but have only gone to trial once.
  19. i agree with this. I had a 10 year hiatus on buying guns because of my financial situation. I didn't start buying again until i got my financial issue straightened out. now i'm buying stuff left and right to make up for the 10 years of drooling and wanting guns i couldn't afford 10 years ago. just hang in there...
  20. she said she was in fear of her life, but decided to go back inside the house. I think the prosecution's argument here was she became the agressor when she went back in the house with a gun.
  21. is it splatter or spatter? there's a difference.
  22. for anyone considering these...Osage County is reliable and fast, based on my current experience. Ordered 3 mags and it was on my doorsteps within 4 days.
