Received the joe bob bcg today and was planning on full disassembly to check it out. Noticed instead of a retaining pin for the firing pin, its a flat...thingie? Anyone seen this before? How does it come out?

Great info everyone..! Thanks for taking the time to respond. I think I'll stick with xm193 to sight in.. It works well for me and its what I shoot the most.

Would accuracy be noticeably affected if I sighted in a rifle using .223, then used it to shoot 5.56, and vice versa? Noticeable difference at 50yds? 100? 200? The scarcity of ammo is making think of how best to sight something in after installing some new optics.. My uneducated guess is there may be some difference, but maybe none too noticeable until 100+ yards out. Interested to hear your thoughts...

I wear a pair of Mechanix gloves. Mainly to keep hands clean but it also feels better when shooting recreationally. Thinking about picking up a pair of PIG gloves from SKD Tactical. Personally, I don't see it as "mall ninja" but maybe its because I AM a mall ninja... =P
