  1. Should be fixed now. We turned in full registration and approval first. It's being worked on
  2. I think it's better to have a dedicated lockbox. I have other stuff in the glove box, so I prefer to use the lockbox. Cable lock makes it easier to discreetly unholster and store. Amazon Basics Portable box is under $25 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077K3FJHC
  3. Working on it. Ofc it happens when I'm driving to work
  4. You have to look at it from a business standpoint - Take Gun for Hire for example - they get thousands of people from NYC and other areas who aren't trained, don't know how to shoot, etc. Do you want them drawing from a holster? No. There's enough problems there already that they shouldn't have to worry about it. Its' the same way with several private ranges too - I know mine doesn't allow for holster draw unless you're LEO. Does it suck? Yes. Is there a purpose? Money. It's a privately owned club and the insurance rates would skyrocket if they allowed holster draw. We have enough issues as it is with members (both new and old) popping off rounds into the ceiling or floor or walls. It's a business thing - if you don't like it, find another business to frequent, or abide by it.
  5. New course? If some of us qual'd with the HQC1/HQC2 that should count right? Or is it just going to be a slideshow like on FARS?
  6. Sorry - couldn't make it out - by the time I finished my stuff the honeydo list started stacking up... Glad y'all had a good time. I may try to call one in August if time permits, or in September. July is almost completely booked for me.
  7. I mean - what happened to all of that lost explosive fertilizer?
  8. I handled the BBR but wasn't impressed - Proportionally it's too short and fat. Does not feel good in the hand to me. The CSX is similar in size to the M&P Shield and feels very comfortable. It's slightly wider than the Shield, which is fine.
  9. What time are you getting there? I have a thing at about 10AM but I'm not sure how long it'll take... Maybe will come later on in the AM. If not, Enjoy!
  10. Tuesday production was 53.7kWh - saw a steep drop off at about 4 or 5PM when the smoke first rolled in. Wednesday production was 32.2 kWh so roughly 40% drop... but you can definitely tell when the smoke rolled in hard again at about 1PM. In comparison last Friday 6/2 - total solar production was 62.2kWh - almost double Wednesday's.
  11. Some schools the HVAC and air filtering isn't up to snuff. My kid's going to school - she's just fine. Just no outdoor stuff. My wife picked her up from school today and will tomorrow too. We're up to 353 here in Bridgewater now.
  12. https://www.airnow.gov/?city=Bridgewater&state=NJ&country=USA 315 right now in Bridgewater. Put in your zip code and see what yours is. I see a big hazardous chunk coming from the west too...
  13. For Ranges, it's an insurance liability thing. Some ranges allow you to holster draw if you prove proficiency. For Government buildings it has to be a visible sign at each entryway. There's no actual ruling on signage in NJ.

  15. Definitely maybe. Gotta check the calendar.
  16. I was simply quoting what Dan Schmutter said on the Gun for Hire Podcast - he explained Explicit permission vs Implied. Your line of thinking goes along with the state's which is incorrect, dangerous, and unconstitutional. The state tried to put forth that the default rule was actually to DENY permission to carry, unless explicitly granted, which Judge Bumb found to be unconstitutional. If you are carrying in a private property owner's residence, and they somehow find out that you are carrying, they can revoke your permission... in which case you can leave or put the gun away and re-enter if they allow. If you refuse to leave, then you can be charged with trespassing.
  17. I've been so busy I haven't had time to even think of scheduling one. June and July are almost completely booked up for me. Let me see if I can shoehorn anything in, maybe even next weekend if time permits.
  18. Yep - I emailed mine to them - they said "Call us and schedule" - Went there with my wallet and $20 and was in and out with PA LTCF in no time flat. The security guard at the metal detector at the front said "oh - sheriff's office is downstairs - take a left, then take the stairs or elevator to the basement. Went right up to the window, gave 'em my name and the $20 cash and they took my pic and printed it and laminated it. Done.
  19. Read their statement. https://www.firearmspolicy.org/fpc-statement-regarding-membership Be patient it's coming.
  20. The judge said it encompassed the FPC and ALL of it's Members and their Relatives... https://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/fifth-circuit-clarifies-that-pistol-brace-injunction-covers-named-plaintiffs-and-all-fpc-members/
