  1. My son in the Marines just txtd me- "runng around in hummer doing baja & blowin 50 cal yehaa!!!"- I will point out this is training not combat.
  2. working here- wow hope all are ok
  3. Got mine- thanx for heads up. Used to print my own at home too but have trouble seeing holes at distance and these targets are a great fix.Been using em for long time.
  4. But I havent finished painting my house yet. Well, they can take my paintbrush out of my cold dead hands.
  5. At first i thought this guy may have been a unstable vet, then i thought he was just hitting the bottle. Now i just think he shamed his uniform by using it as a teflon suit. What do you think would've happened to him if he was in jeans and a t-shirt?
  6. This guy is (unfortunatly) tainted goods. First the cammy uniform isnt supposed to worn in public not to mention he's technically out of uniform in its condition. Also the facial hair is a no-go unless he's going special ops. Cops should know better and get him help.
  7. I'm Ok with that too. So just for the record, other than "special' events there will not be any retention to a data library? Also is there the possibility of the live feed being seen off-site at any time? And as a side note it would have been nice to have given a heads up to the general membership this was coming.
  8. Figures-I just ordered a MKIII yesterday.
  9. Awesome! dont forget a range report.Always wondered how long these old (new?)snipers held their zero.
  10. +1 Altho I'm certainly not a fan of Big Bro Eye In The Sky stuff for this time I'm ok with it. I know what i'm doing is safe and to the rules, nothing to hide. And as far as I know CR has a great track record. However i cant account for any of the others out there and lord knows there's always a few yahoos, arrogant, big egos, ill-willed and just plain dumb people out there. But do i want images of me totin guns and bangin away floating around for who knows how long-absolutly not. When we were working at the silloete range there was plenty of questionable acts to see. holes in the metal plates- obviously not from a 22.Lots of bullet holes in the wood structure portions of the barricade between the 200-300 range. Come on, you cant hit that angle by accident and if it was and God forbid someone got hurt, theres a record of it now. I just need to remember my ski mask and extra set of license plates for now on.
  11. Old & Crusty Pizza Bob<---not to infer there is a "New Pizza Bob maybe a little more appropriate?
  12. Alec Mc- so did you end up getting one of these Saiga 922r's? If so what are your imppressions?
  13. "We are sorry but Company Policy Prevents us from Shipping to N.J. Yea- I got the same excact reply. jeez, is NJ's rep that bad ?!
  14. Try talking to CZ again and tell them your situation how NJ sux...maybe they think they're doing you a favor buy replacing it. I would think re-coating yours would be a lot cheaper to them than replacing it.
  15. I saw that deal too. Ive got a Cougar 9 right now and am itching for the 45 but just got a 1911 45. They must have "found" an old stockpile. Actually they are not dis-continued just are now being made by Berettas subsidiary Stoegar on the same tools & machines. They are identical except for the labeling and the Stoegar 45 has a tact rail under it.But for the fashionistas out there its nice to see them with the Beretta tag again. Great values.

  17. your slugs need to go down to the 50/100 yd rifle range. The SG range will let you run patterns for shot near the far left port.
  18. Took my brandy new Citadel.45(Armscor/Rock Island)1911 to the range for first time and it didnt want tp feed the first rnd off the initial rack.Would just jam the rack. had to re-rack a time or two to feed it but that was the only time it would jam, no more FTF thru the rest of the mag.Started to get a little better as i shot thru 4-5 mags but altho the rnd would feed it seemed to still catch a little. BTW, did the same thing(jam) when I cycled some snap caps when I first got it, thought it was just them. Maybe its the two Act mags that came with it, heard they can leave a little to be desired. Was using standard ball 230 ammo.Maybe I need to open the mags up a bit so the rnd sits a tiny bit higher? This is my first 1911 so not too familiar with this platform yet. Other than that FTF it shot pretty good, was in love instantly when my first shot from abour 30' hit that little thing in the center(bullseye?)and did fairly well all together. Gotta like anything that makes me look better than I am.Should I justnot worry and shoot some more, maybe the mags gotta "break in"?
  19. Ha! used to live right there 40 yrs ago! Hadley airport, Nike missle base...
  20. Jeez- how long does it take them to shred a few documents? I give you NJ2A guys extra credit for your patience, I cant even wait 15 mins at the Olive Garden.
  21. I was working on a jobsite a few yrs back and one of the contractors had one of those big boxes with the recessed locks. Came in one morning and someone attempted to drag the box but too heavy so the spiteful priks slammed some nails into the key slots of the locks rendering them in-operable. My buddy saved his tools but the offenders got their revenge knowing the job box was gonna get trashed trying to re-open it.
  22. So I did transfer thru this place and its pretty much what I thought it was(wasn't). Yea he does sell a few used guns but its not really a shop per say. Mostly its a side to his main sqeeze which is doing the gun cleaning with the hi tech cleaner thingys. Small room with a token display of handguns and a few small racks of random long guns.Talked a bit about what he does and more or less said selling is not what he's about, short and sweet transfers are fine but "shoppers" actually interfere with his cleaning business but he is an all around gun guy, avid shooter, collectoer etc. Does not work on guns, I asked little things like pinning mags, cutting off bayo lugs,no. Nice guy and also said something about having another place in PA.You probably can call to come look but dont excpect rows upon rows of displays. BTW, closed on Sats so transfers can be tough on the 9-5 guys.
