  1. lol, u should see the tri-gun they just made! 3 m16's in sequence. Now, the show for me is purely entertainment purpose... they make a lot of stupid sh*t and they most certainly DO highlight the "jokes" and do a lot of editing out. It's a discovery show, so its hard to take at face value...much like OCC.
  2. The opening episode probably topped the entire last season.
  3. Excluding a gun owner from leasing is not the same thing as refusing to have firearms on the property.
  4. That would be my choice!! and an m1a is close second. and all the 30rd mags i could buy. An SBR would make the list too.
  5. Just 2 weeks ago a house down the street was broken into in the middle of the night, they demanded money but didn't take anything, but they beat the homeowner into a hospital and then left. LOCATION: FRANKLIN LAKES.. The worst places to get hit are sometimes the least expected...
  6. You obviously missed the 44mag desert eagle he was putting holes in holes with. hahahaha!
  7. AND, now i know why i never herd of them. lol. But seriously, at which point does a rifle round become a pistol round and vice verse? Does the firearm shooting the cartridge determine it? or the cartridge itself? I mean someone can build a pistol to shoot a one shot rifle round, if a pistol exists which can shoot a rifle round it suddenly becomes a pistol round? Now i know there isn't much of an answer here, and u seem to know more about it then me i'm just rambling. This also trickles down into NJ where you need an FPID to purchase pistol ammo, which is documented. lol look what i found, not sure if its real or not tho. It looks like they have classified many other rifle rounds as pistol rounds.
  8. gotta love the stig!! the new season is great too!
  9. I'd rather clear a house with a 9mm then a bulky rifle that will probably make me go def. and head spin from the percussion.
  10. Ehh, handgun stopping power and effectiveness are two different things. You can test the stopping power of a caliber by using rather simple tests. Which caliber creates the most damage too a controlled target area. Torso, head, arm, present the results and combine the data for net destruction. If you turn the attention to how effective a round is, then many variables which are untestable and throw in human error then u reach this point... where no definitive answer can be concluded.
  11. A rifle who's barrel has been chopped off. A shotgun with an pistol sized barrel would not be considered a pistol would it? There doesnt seem to be any one definition for "pistol" size, caliber, what not... so i guess its up in the air really. Just to add more confusion An AR pistol... an Assault rifle pistol? Now my primary beef is that, there are no marketed pistols chambered in .223 that i know of.. other then the AR pistols which are modified rifles. The only point here was to take a common RIFLE round and put more restrictions on it.
  12. .223 is a handgun cartridge are f'ing kidding me? this is a complete joke right? i mean they do realize its not even close to a pistol cartridge and is loaded with rifle powder? this is just them making up what ever they want!!!! to fit there agenda!!! 5.56 is not .223 tho.. lol.
  13. Still not sure what i would be shooting at 1000 yards or even past 300. Besides it would be a total waste because i dont even have any training using high power scopes and long distance target shooting. What good is a 1000+yard rifle if you cant hit anything. But like i said i will get one when the time is right, when i have the barebones to defend at close contact. Figure you have to be prepared to use the gear you have, i purchased an AR rifle and pistol for now and have been learning how to operate and maintain them as well as building up a sustainable amount of ammo for them. When you take into consideration what is actually needed the barebone arsenal with lots of ammo is better then a wide variety of firearms with less ammo. Then take into consideration the training and know how to use each firearm. I dont even own a shotgun yet, so i figure next purchase will be one then more ammo, and more ammo, and then probably a savage in 308 with a nice scope(but i could effectively buy 10,000 round of 5.56 with that price point)
  14. I think the list is good in that it displays accurate Specs on the weapon, but in terms of reliability and performance there isn't a whole lot there. You have bad, good and excellent rifles. What determines that is a compilation of design and material elements that is "unknown" and only proven through trials. Then there will always be an give and take aspect to a build, the less you give up and more you ask the higher the price.
  15. My purchases are based on what i need, i'm not at the point where i have what i need and am buying what i want. Do i need a rifle that can reach out over 1,000 yards, no, but i want one. I need a reliable and accurate rifle and pistol that can give me confidence between 5 feet and 300 yards. Once i get the bare bone arsenal i can go from there. One day i would like to have a large caliber rifle that can reach out 1,500 yards and be able to hit a target but i am far off from that point. I'm more of a buy what i can use not what it's capable of. many things offset the decisions people make while purchasing firearms, as long as you can justify the purchase. I usually go for the best bang for buck route. Although i wont lie, i paid a premium for my ruger exclusive target. Sometimes when u find something u like and need, then find out there is an exclusive that you like(hogue grips) u just cant say no. A good way to look at it is whether or not u may regret the purchase. Could i have bought something better more useful for the money?

That's not even an appropriate sales scheme... what some one will pay for a one off is completely different then what someone would pay for a retail item. Sure 1 nut job would pay 4k for the shotgun, maybe a couple would, but that does not reflect the market.. People will pay out the butt for an exclusive item, even if its a POS. When an item goes retail, nothing will reflect the price other then quality and availability. We see this all the time with leaked phones on ebay and such.. New iphones that havnt hit the market yet go for around 2k, wait a month and u can buy it for $500. Also i'm not sure what gunbroker rules are, but i would be pissed to spend all that time bidding on an item that isn't really for sale... IMHO if keltec does there research in such a manner then i wouldn't even want one. Seems like there trying to squeeze every last dime they can, and use an excuse to charge more and produce less. I like companies that make the best weapon they can and charge what its worth, with detailed marketing points. The weapon cost x to build y to research and has to hit z to make profit. When i see marketing research like this the bottom line becomes the most important aspect and all attention focuses on how much can we squeeze out of our customers.

The only tactic that seems to work in the game is to run in circles while taking short breaks to turn around and throw down some lead and nades. You can stand up to the hoard until about round 14 and then SHTF.
  18. I was thinking the same thing... in real life situation you only get pictures of the shooting in progress, nothing about what led up to the shooting.
  19. Not true, i extended one that was a month expired. I just lost that month, and only had the 60days that were left.
  20. Every PD will be different. Mine, the chief initials and dates the extension. If he's available when i stop in he does it right there and then, or i pick it up the next day. Some just stamp the permit and your off on your way.
  21. ahh, that actually makes sense. To make this more common sense... the DMV changes your address in there database and sends you the stickers for change of address related to DMV documents. Your FPID is registered through the state police and your municipality unless you apply for a FPID again they have no way of knowing you moved, and your new municipality would have no documentation or file for your P2P permits and all the rest they keep on file. MY PD told me to notify them if i move or sell a pistol, so they can make the proper adjustments to my file, they say no one ever tells them anything and they have files on people with firearms they don't even own anymore...not a huge deal if you keep your own paperwork on file(we get copies of everything).
  22. DMV with the right address on it(or correct change of address sticker) + matching FPID, you cannot put a sticker from the DMV onto an FPID. I'm not even sure how you would end up with two of them.
