  1. http://www.sgammo.co...ase-aguila-ammo Picked me up 5 boxes... figured for that priced I'd give it a try. And Reloadable brass. Any one have any experience with Aguila?
  2. Have the Sig 1911-22. Love it. One thing does bother me, (and I believe the issue is the same with gsg, and chiappa pistols) the finish. Whatever process was used when adhearing...she's a no worka. Doesn't really bother me as I bought it as a cheap range practice pistol... Other than that, accurate and fun to shoot. That colt is a beauty btw... If you are looking to spend a bit more than the rest of us, I picked up a Kimber Rimfire Target...wow. I'm not a big Kimber fan, but wish I got that instead. Sweet trigger.
  3. A Judge with common sense, and who understands and respects the Constitution. Good news...Never thought I'd say this: I'm envious of Maryland.
  4. Have a Wilson CQB 10mm...love it. Wombat is correct in that ...I have only been able to put 50 down thwe pipe...even that made stomach qweezy...and back into the safe...:0( Handled great...tight, accurate as hell, I may take her for a spin again one day...beautiful.

    hk 23

Have the HK23 myself...Pick it up, hold it...it's not an uncomfortably large grip as internet lore would lead you to believe. I don't have large mits, and to me it feels very comfortable. You'll love it when you shoot it too...very accurate...recoil is very manageble. Get the thread protector too...it's cheap 5-10 bucks if I recall.
  8. The first things I swapped out when I got the gun...guide rod. Got the stainless steel guide rod from the same place hd2000fxdl gave the link to above.
  9. I don't normally post comments on news site...but I just had to. Getting really sick of the way we are treated here in this state... When it comes to firearm laws we are treated like children...but when it comes to tax laws(and every other I might add)...we are treated as adults. hmmmm.

  15. Own an STI Tactical 5.0...love it. Had a few hiccups in the beginning (FTE a couple rounds in the first 100), but after 500-600 rounds through it, runs like a dream. Built like a tank.
  16. Got the bug for one...bad, and was gonna try my luck here, and see if anyone was selling, knew of one for sale, could lead me in the direction of...here in the Communist Republic of Joisey. See them here and there on a couple auction sites...rather get it in my hands and inspect it, prior to shelling out the loot for it. Want the octagonal barrel version...hence the Cowboy "Limited" name. Hope this is an ok section to post this... thanks guys...

  23. Subject: Personal Ad THIS IS AN ACTUAL PERSONAL AD FROM THE " SAVANNAH TRIBUNE" NEWSPAPER ........ AN ACTUAL PERSONAL AD To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me In Downtown Savannah night before last. Date: 2010-05-27, 1 :43 a.m. E.S.T. I was the guy wearing the black Bur berry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on me and my girlfriend, threatening our lives. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message. First, I'd like to apologize for your embarrassment; I didn't expect you to actually crap in your pants when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening was not that cold, and I was wearing the jacket for a reason. My girlfriend had just bought me that Kimber Model 1911 ...45 ACP pistol for my birthday, and we had picked up a shoulder holster for it that very evening. Obviously you agree that it is a very intimidating weapon when pointed at your head ... Isn't it?! I know it probably wasn't fun walking back to wherever you'd come from with that brown sludge in your pants. I'm sure it was even worse walking bare-footed since I made you leave your shoes, cell phone, and wallet with me. [That prevented you from calling or running to your buddies to come help mug us again]. After I called your mother or "Momma" as you had her listed in your cell, I explained the entire episode of what you'd done. Then I went and filled up my gas tank as well as those of four other people in the gas station, -- on your credit card. The guy with the big motor home took 150 gallons and was extremely grateful! I gave your shoes to a homeless guy outside Vinnie Van Go Go's, along with all the cash in your wallet. [That made his day!] I then threw your wallet into the big pink "pimp mobile" that was parked at the curb ... After I broke the windshield and side window and keyed the entire driver's side of the car. Later, I called a bunch of phone sex numbers from your cell phone. Ma Bell just now shut down the line, although I only used the phone for a little over a day now, so what 's going on with that? Earlier, I managed to get in two threatening phone calls to the DA's office and one to the FBI, while mentioning President Obama as my possible target. The FBI guy seemed really intense and we had a nice long chat (I guess while he traced your number etc.). In a way, perhaps I should apologize for not killing you, but I feel this type of retribution is a far more appropriate punishment for your threatened crime. I wish you well as you try to sort through some of these rather immediate pressing issues, and can only hope that you have the opportunity to reflect upon, and perhaps reconsider, the career path you've chosen to pursue in life. Remember, next time you might not be so lucky. Have a good day! Thoughtfully yours, Alex
