  1. Not sure where your located but I know in Lambertville there is a drop off box(old mailbox) by City Hall. If your not near there then as others stated check with your local VFW.
  2. Didn't see anyone mention Streamlight. Have had many of fhere lights over the years and find myself using a Strion LED rechargeable for everyday use while working. For pocket carry I use the ProTac 1L and also keep one of them in all my vehicles for emergencies.
  3. Just voted at 8:55pm and current totals are No 92% 447 votes and Yes 7.8% 38 votes.
  4. I haven't used mine in 20 years but it was a Whites and was always reliable and accurate. Whites is still in business and seem to be one of the better detectors out there still I believe.
  5. I just switched to a Netgear WNDR4500 and been very happy with its performance so far. The other one I would also consider is the ASUS RT-AC66U but the Netgear has a lifetime warranty.
  6. We just bought our first travel trailer last year in August. We been trying different campgrounds and always looking for suggestions. Our 2 favorite for close by are Beaver Valley in Ottsville Pa and Colonia Woods in Upper Black Eddy Pa that we've been visiting for quick weekend get a ways. Both have themed weekends and lots of things for the kids to do. We went to Tip Tam in Jackson NJ this year for Father's Day weekend and also liked it there other then Being close to the road way and hearing local traffic. For our vacation in a few weeks we are going to Lake In Wood then over to Hershey High Meadows
  7. I've never been asked directly by the Dr. or nurse but at my kids last well check up I was given a questionnaire about family history and such and it did ask if there where firearms in the house. I just left it blank and never heard a word about it. Funny story though a few years ago same thing at a well check up the nurse asked if he's even been exposed to anything with lead in it. My boy was 7 at the time looks at me and whispers in my ear what about the bullets when we go shooting. The nurse overheard and we both said that's fine to him.
  8. MAC stands for Made Across China. My daily tools for sockets, ratchets and wrenches are Snap On. Also have a few sets of S-K super chrome wrenches that I really like. My sets i keep in my vehicles are Craftsman and are just for road side emergencies. The only thing from MAC I like are their panel pullers and long reach needle nose pliers.. For occasional use go Craftsman. If using everyday professionally then go Snap On. I've heard good things about Cornwell but no dealer near me so I've never seen their tools
  9. Check with Frontier out of trenton. A friend just went to orlando for under $200 round trip and its free parking for now
  10. We on Rt.179 just north of Lambertville. More info at. Ces4less.com
  11. Where are you located? We carry Vexor at my shop in Lambertville/West Amwell area,
  12. How far into PA are you looking to go. Where are you located. Holiday weekends get booked quick and some reserve spots a year in advance. As far as CCW most do not allow firearms without prior arrangements. If your from Nj I guess you have a Ut CCW as FL and VA are no longer good in PA for non resident. Back to campgrounds. Are you tent camping or do you have a camper. Heard good things about Otter Lake but haven't been there yet(reserved a lake front spot in Oct though) Beaver Valley in Ottsville is my favorite near by campground or Colonial Woods in Upper Black Eddy.
  13. If use are taking this to get reciprocity in PA then don't bother. PA no longer recognizes non resident CCW's from FL, VA or AZ. The New PA Atterney General has been changing all the agreements to only residents of the issueing state.
  14. Have had several different brands over the years and usually got 3-5 years out of them. Bought a Weber Genesis with the Cast Iron cooking surface about 5 years ago now and has been the best grill I've owned so far. My only complaint was the contol knobs on the right side. I see the new ones are now on the front so you have 2 work surfaces now.
  15. Last month I renewed my DL in Flemington with my Laminated FID card and my current DL. No other forms needed. My FID card has been laminated for over 20 years and never had a issue. I would have asked for a supervisor
  16. My sons friend that came over one day wanted to know if we had money in that large safe. I was at work and my wife just told him it was my gun collections. Both my boys have friends over and the subject never comes up other then the one time. If anyone asks I would just say I'm a collector and the boys and I like to target shoot.
  17. The PBA is offering a $1000 reward http://www.trentonian.com/article/20130109/NEWS01/130109654/police-union-offers-reward-for-officer-146-s-gun TRENTON — The Trenton Policeman’s Benevolent Association Local 11 has approved a $1,000 reward for bringing Officer Richard Takach’s lost handgun to the Trenton Police Department. “We want that gun back,” PBA President George Dzurkoc said. “We don’t want anyone to be injured or worse by the department’s property.” Takach lost his service weapon early Monday morning at the West Precinct substation at the end of his shift when he placed the gun on the rear bumper and drove away, according to a police report left at The Trentonian. A search by three officers and a search dog was unsuccessful. “It’s not a sign of him being careless, it was an accident, nobody intentionally loses a weapon,” Takach’s attorney Stuart Alterman said to NBC10. “He was changing in and out of his duty uniform to his street clothes, he was transferring his weapon from his duty holster to an off-duty holster and unfortunately he lost a weapon. He left it on the car or the truck. When he realized it was gone, he called, he drove back to Trenton, they looked for it and he notified his superiors immediately.” Excluding the costs of the holster and ammunition, the value of the Glock M23 handgun is estimated to be between $600 and $700. If the gun is not recovered, the city would be on the hook to replace it. “It was a mistake, but the taxpayers should not have to pay for his error,” Councilman George Muschal, himself a retired police officer, said. “If he lost the gun and it’s never found, he should have to pay restitution for it.” Muschal said callers to the councilman’s hotline have indicated that the lost weapon is somewhere in West Trenton and seem interested in providing information leading to the weapon’s recovery — if there is a reward involved.
  18. It appears as if the suspect was a prisoner and gained access to maybe one of the officers firearms. GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP — Three Gloucester Township police officers were injured when a prisoner gained possession of a gun this morning inside the police station, according to a report on WPVI's website. The gunman was then fatally shot. The Philadelphia ABC affiliate said the three officers were take to Cooper University Hospital in Camden following the incident at 5:30 a.m. One male officer is in stable condition with a bullet wound that is considered non-life threatening, while a male and a female officer suffered graze wounds, the report said. The shooting might have taken place near a stairwell in the rear of the building on Chews Landing Road, MyFoxPhilly.com reported.
