  1. I plan to move across the river but have to wait another 6 years when the kids are out of school.
  2. Ok. Was just wondering because you had mentioned Florida and I see a lot of people who don't know that there FL permit is only good now if your a resident of FL. I wish I had the time to go to TX as I live right on the river between NJ & PA and spend a lot of time in PA and all my permits are now useless in PA.
  3. Never considered it. What CCW are you carrying in PA with?
  4. Nalence Tire in Lambertville is a nice little tire shop. Been using them for 20+ years. 609-397-3020.
  5. I'm interested in some 10" plates if still available. I sent you a PM with my contact info. Thanks
  6. For the past 20+ years I've used the same Pa resident as one of my references with no issue. I don't believe it states anywhere that the references must reside in NJ.
  7. Cheap ham in Toms River carries Wouxun.
  8. Doylestown Township Police is investigating an attempted armed robbery that occurred on 12/15/14 at approximately 7:00PM. The victim was walking his dog in the area of Burpee Road and Shady Retreat Road when he was confronted by a suspect carrying a knife. The suspect described as a w/m approximately 5’10” wearing camouflage clothing demanded his car keys. The victim resisted and fell to the ground. The victim was armed and fired multiple rounds at the suspect. The suspect was last seen running from the area. The suspect’s description is similar to that of Montgomery County murder suspect Bradley Stone. Police from multiple jurisdictions is assisting in searching for the armed robbery suspect.
  9. It's still showing on sale on their web site as I type this. I know for the past few years it has always been that price on Black Friday. If the sale did end and if you show them the web site they should honor that price. I don't see anything online as to when the sale ends. http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/winchesterreg%3B-gun-safe-24-gun-capacity
  10. What size are you looking at. A few years back I was going to get the Cannon till I saw the 24 gun Winchester that Tractor Supply sells. It's on sale for $549 Black Friday. I liked the interior better and that it has external hinges so the door opens wider. Other then it's full I'm been very happy with the Winchester.
  11. Check out a Remington 795. My youngest boy started out with a Cricket but was tearing up his fingers cocking it. Been very pleased with the Remington.
  12. We all have our times when we don't do our hobbies as often as we use to. Don't give up hope. Sometimes you just need to plan a day to do nothing and go to the range. I've noticed myself not getting out there as often either but its a combination of to many other things going on, ammo prices and shortage didn't help either. But I still try to go atleast a few times a year if not more. One thing since I can't but .22LR's anywhere I got my 11 year old shooting the AR and enjoying it. Hang in there. Not sure where you are located but I go out to Classic Pistol In Pa if you ever want to join me for a day at the range.
  13. Anyone with USAA.. Trying to get some feedback. I currently have State Farm but I'm eligible to get USAA. I haven't got a quote yet but trying to see if those who have it are happy. I see alot of mixed reviews online.
  14. Here is the current list from the PA Attorney Generals Site. This really sucks. I spend a lot of time in PA and now can't carry concealed. Since I'll never get a permit in NJ I am not able to get a PA non resident. I was planning on moving to PA in 8 years but the way things are going there lately I wonder how worse it will get. http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/crime.aspx?id=184
  15. NJ.Com has a poll on there today about CCW. "Should NJ Gun Owner Be Allowed To Carry In Public Without Having To Show Urgent Need." At the time of my vote we were winning 67% to 33% http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2014/05/poll_should_nj_gun_owners_be_allowed_to_carry_in_public_without_having_to_show_urgent_need.html#incart_river_default
  16. Not sure if they have any left but Tanners in Pa had PMC Bronze .223 for $7.49 a box for a few weeks now.
  17. i used PNC bank for several years and was always happy with them till they starting charging me a fee. Shop around, check your current bank to see what they offer. How much volume of sales will you be doing? I own a small business and deal mostly with Municipal agencies so did very little credit card trasactions. I've been using Square for the past 2 years and has worked well since there is no monthly fee.
  18. I just picked up a Saiga IZ132 for under $500 and plan on getting my own wood furniture for it. Put a few hundred rounds through it yesterday without a single issue. No problem hitting 16oz water bottles at 50 yards with the iron sights.
  19. Hearing about all the new ID cards and purchasing permit applications that have been submitted I would say its on the rise. Also considering how busy the gun counters are at most shops I really don't think sales are down.
  20. Maybe those donations made him change his tune on the 10 round mag limit... http://www.nj.com/politics/index.ssf/2014/02/sweeney_proud_of_his_change_of_heart_on_ammo_magazine_limit.html#incart_river_default
  21. I've already left a message with the museum however I'm trying to find someone local to look at the rifle to tell me if its correct.
  22. Is there anyone in the Hunterdon/Mercer/Bucks Co. Area who is knowlegeable on the older Winchester rifles. I recently aquired a 1882 and looking for someone who could tell me if its original or has had anything done to it. By the serial number it appears to be from 1902. Thanks
