Park your car in a Faraday Cage...It'll shield it from an EMP. -

You can get up to any number, but you have to make sure you fall within the 30 days (or use an exemption). NICS just royally screwed my today because my last permit is about to expire, its 31 days and they wrote the wrong date of my last NICS check. by SEVEN days late. Now i have to attempt to extend this permit....or go through the process of getting another one. I hate this place. -
Differences between 22LR and 22 Mag
Sticky Grips replied to kurtinnj's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
I've shot 200 yards+ at the range with 22lr. It reminds me of an artillery piece, but still reaches out. Ironically you'll have guys with 308 remington 700s shooting 100 yards three lanes away. -

Firearms taken into evidence!?!?
Sticky Grips replied to vladtepes's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Lol. If they're going to seize my firearm after the shooting I should just use the rolled up magazine and matchhead shotgun they use in prison! I'll even use the wife's family circle magazine so I don't even miss a beat. -
Congrats. I just got married in nov. I will give you a bit if unsolicited advice...the wedding is over in a day. The debt lasts a lot longer. Pay for it with money you have and don't handicap yourself because you want some elaborate affair.

My Ffl about messed his britches when I had a hugo sks sent there. I think the icing on the cake was when he asked if there was a flash hider on the barrel and I said "no....its a grenade launcher." It has a fixed magazine. -
Split rock was probably the best. Wider isles equals less smelly redneck armpits.

George w. Appointed this idiot too. I was certain I would have seen obama attached to her.

HK91 Magazines – NJ Conversion

I have 20 rd ak mags that were blocked with a rod welded through the floor plate. Its permanent. You can't take apart the mag without cutting the floor plate up. -

The punishment doesn't fit the crime, but I think that punk will reconsider throwing things at cars. -
Officer suspended after leaving assault rifle
Sticky Grips replied to Malsua's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
The rifle shouldn't have been in the trunk..it should be in a rack in the drivers compartment. I think all cruisers should have a long gun. Then again I also think they should be stuck with the same configuration and mag limits as non-police and see how quick they start complaining. -

Stockpile ammunition in NJ? is it ok?
Sticky Grips replied to boxjeff's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
Rounds going off in a fire are similar to fireworks. Its not going to kill you. -
I most certainly am. I just finished a turbo build on my Camaro. The only things that really interest me involve guns and gas. Seems like mechanical tinkering goes well with both cars and guns.

Hi everyone. I am taking a trip to fl and would like to bring a pistol with me. I've looked around at various sources to try and find the best way to go about this. I am considering checking a pistol in my checked baggage. Of course the case will be locked with an additional lock run through the action of the pistol. Anyone have experience with this procedure? Tips, hints, advise would be appreciated. I am also considering fedexing the pistol to myself...but have to look at the legality of it. Thanks!!
