  4. One name, Dave Ramsey. If you've never heard of him check him out. His principles totally changed me and my wife's life. We are now totally debt free except our house, have a 3 month emergency savings, are saving to buy my wife's next new car with cash in a couple months then we will start making double or triple mortgage payments and have our house paid off in 4 years. To practice what he preaches you have to totally change your way of financial thinking and a lot of people have a hard time accepting that or they think their plan is better but his has proven itself millions of times over. I even argued with my wife why it was a bad idea, then I tried it and haven't looked back.

  6. Depends on who you ask, I've never dimpled the plate or castle nut and I've never had one come loose on me. Seems more of a preference thing than a necessity
  7. Putting an upper together is easier than it looks. All you really need is a vise, Bev block or reaction rod, an armorers wrench, torque wrench, punch set, some anti seize and a set of Allen keys to put most uppers together.go/no go gauges are nice to have too. Watch some videos and see what others use. You can buy all kinds of fancy tools but that's the basics. And yes, you can have an adjustable stock mailed right to your house as well as a barrel
  8. Great guy to deal with. If anybody needs anything packaged he's the guy, scope could of survived an explosion
  9. My beater is an 02 Jetta TDI (diesel). 280,00 miles and runs great, I drive about 100 miles round trip everyday to work and average 50 mpg. Keeps the miles and wear off my 2014 Ram 2500 Laramie diesel
  10. Actually Matt Emmons shot at USANA in Elmer with me. I shot along side him for years. Still have awards with both our names on it from various team matches.
  11. This was our rental car, most uncomfortable damn thing I've ever driven
  12. Me and my better half decided to go for our 10 year anniversary. Awesome place but VERY hectic. Figured you guys would appreciate this 20180218_115623.mp4
  13. I'd like to stay around 500ish
  14. I'm always open to opinions. I don't want a red dot. Talk me into a good scope that resembles the strike eagle. At least an 8x scope
  15. I was going to but it was another $170 and I figured I already pissed enough away on a wall hanger. Im building a Cobalt Kinetics rifle now and Im gonna have the scope mount cerakoted but not the scope. Think I'm going with a Vortex Strike Eagle
  16. So its raining and I'm bored so i figured I'd share one of my newer toys. Daniel Defense stock Sharps Bros The Jack lower Gibbz G4 side charger Vortex red dot Cmc single stage trigger Fortis Night Rail Faxon Firearms .223 wylde All cerakote done by Blown Deadline
  17. Ive been wet tumbling for years and tried many dish soaps. Cheap soap made marks on my brass similar to that where they sat and dried. For me the orange colored Palmolive works the best. Super shiny. Its worth a shot for ya.
  18. I have a Bev block you can use if that'll help. Ive put a few barrels on with it, works great.
  19. I bought the Rec Tec 680 3 years ago and loved it so much that I bought the 300 to take camping with us. They're a little pricey but I use mine almost everyday. Turkey and Mac n cheese are in my 680 right now, stuffing is in the 300. These things are truly set it and forget it, no babysitting. Never once have we had anything we didn't like come off of it. Not only is it a smoker but you can bump up the temp to 550 and do some burgers and steaks too. I recently built a UDS (ugly drum smoker). Very cost effective way to get into smoking and it hold temps VERY well for hours. Rec Tec just came out with another version of pellet grill that looks like your typical weber charcoal grill but runs off pellets. $400 shipped I believe. Probably gonna buy that too, just because. Happy Smoking
  20. Smoking the 23# bird and homemade mac n cheese on my Rec Tec pellet pooper. Also making homemade stuffing, mashed taters, candied yams, corn, fresh green beans, coleslaw, homemade cranberry sauce, cheesecake and pumpkin pie. My favorite holiday of the year by far.
