  1. My Colt 6700 came with one from the factory. As of right now it's still in there but I'm not sure I really care for it.
  2. Your picking up, what I'm putting down
  3. Almost, I give it an A-. No body likes a politician, until they need one.
  4. A good base to work off of. However just a quick reminder that you should still shoot YOUR rifle and experiment with different grain bullets to see what it likes best. You may be surprised.
  5. Did she say "You need to be reported" or "You need to be deported" in the Wally world video.
  6. So was it?- 2b or not 2b, that is the question?
  7. So if you do not have kids, get the Rock Island. You will not have to worry about passing down the burden of shame of owning one, and the money you save can be spent on ammo.
  8. Sounds like they may have been from The Collings Foundation. If the B-17 you saw was Olive drab it may have been "Nine-O-Nine" Those prices only scratch the surface of the operational costs of flying a Warbird. It not only takes lots of money but also many long hours by many volunteers who are the unsung heros of these flying time capsules. If given the chance to fly in one, take it. I promise you will not be disappointed. Please also remember to thank the crew of people that allow us to take a trip back in our history.
  9. I only had the luxury of spending one class with him and I have nothing but the utmost respect for him. You know that saying "If he told you to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge would you do it?" If Jerry told me to I would, because there is a damn good reason to.
  10. lmao, That is truly funny and utterly distubing at the same time. I think she just stole "Shock and Awe" from the former Prez.
  11. Count Von Count says there are actually FIVE! FIVE reasons! (Disclaimer: The count only has four fingers because, well quite frankly he was easier to make that way. Sorry Count )
  12. "Maybe this is a TV stand or mount or something" ^^^Lol Anyone have the Amazon SKU# for that TV? Figure I'll order one. Worst thing that can happen is I get the TV instead of the Sig and I'll just return it. LOl
  13. Exactly! Just like a company CEO or even say a forum MOD! lol Edit: re-qouted your line for clarification
  14. There is an anti-leo vibe on this forum for sure. People almost always feel the need to post "bad" leo stories on this forum but never any "good" leo stories. Then the shoe is on the other foot and the same people curse the media for only posting "bad" gun-related stories but never any "good" gun-related stories. Politicians elected by citizens of NJ took our gun rights away, not the police.
  15. Not trying to be a wise guy but did you ask Paul? Last time I was there (months ago) I thought he had some uppers behind the counter over on the left by the door? If not I am sure he could get you one.
  16. I grew up with shotguns and bolt/lever action rifles so I was a late bloomer for handguns. I bought my first handgun in 1995. I wanted a Sig P220 but could not afford it. So I bought a SS Ruger KP90, and after an unknown amount of rounds, I still have it and like it.
  17. Hola Pizza Bob, I agree that of all the current S&W 1911's, the performance center is the more expensive one. Mine has the melonite coating so I think MSRP was in the $2200-2300 range. However no one pays MSRP unless they really, really, want something. Mine was $1850 otd. I have seen slightly used ones for $1300-$1600 and missed a really nice one for $1200. Anyway my point is of all the 1911's avalible, that the $1850 price range (IMVHO of course) is mid-level. Especially when compared to (but not limited to) some of the offerings avalible from Wilson Combat, Nighthawk, and even some of Downtown Eddie Brown's stuff can reach $4000+ Not trying to argue, just presenting evidence for my case is all. Feel free to dissect it if you want, no hard feelings. hasta que hablemos otra vez, Scott
