Well it's a toss up between the two, right now I'm trying to see if a Acog would be suitable at close quarters but from what I've read it's harder to use for that, not impossible just harder.

I was looking at either a TA01nsn or a TA31. I'd like the reticle to be in green as the red blooms, the amber is not the best overall and the green is the sweet spot according to the reviews.

If anyone is in the Guttenberg area and has a aimpoint or a trijicon on their rifle I'd like to stop by and just see the rds and scope with my own eyes. I'm torn between a Aimpoint Pro or a Trijicon and a in person inspection is going to seal the deal for me.

The safety is not some external thumb safety. Once you click it into off position it's not going to snag on anything and turn on by mistake. If you put one in the chamber and the safety is off, better believe the weapon is hot.

Reporting back on this class. Jeff was a great instructor. I took First Steps so the first hour or two was a refresher and then we went into the stuff that goes above and beyond that class. The class is easy to digest and I definitely enjoyed the breakdown and cleaning of each type of gun. I even got sold on a 1911 no matter how many times I shot the recoil spring plug across the room. If Jeff offers this class again you guys should sign up.
