Me too, and I already know I can't make next months classifier match due to work.

Weather forecast isn't looking so go for the match. Maybe we can get lucky like at Old Bridge last week. Fingers crossed.

I'll be up there for this one. That's gonna be two weeks in a row for me shooting a match. My work schedule is starting to fall in line.

Yep top down, but I think I let the movement messed with my head. Hope they use it again next month, I want another crack at it.

I'm interested in what stage you did your head shots on, that sounds like something fun to do. Had a great time out there today, but like Ray said it was quite humid. First time shooting a Texas Star, and everyone watching could tell, but who cares I had fun. By the way, Ray thanks for the brass.

The Shongum match is a good one to start if you want to do USPSA. I've never shot a steel match like this though so I couldn't help you on that. Here is the link for directions to Shongum, if you choose to go, i'll be there for that one.My link

That seemed evident at the new member meeting a couple of weeks ago during the walk through at the indoor range. Haven't gotten a chance to get out there either, been busy with work. Hoping to at least get out to the indoor range sometime this week. Hope to maybe see some of you out there sometime.

Do what Harry said, and shoot in it this time. I shot my first match there last month and had a great time, met a couple forum members and even carpooled with Pizza Bob. I wish I could go this month, but i'm on call for work. Next month i'll be there, Bob i'll drive.

If the OP is taking a firearms class, and that class is given by NRA instructors, and it's a NRA class wouldn't that fall into the exceptions?

The times being a home brewer come in handy. I've got several 6 gallon food grade buckets and carboys that can easily be filled with water, not to mention the beer that I already have made. I think i'm set, got a lot of ammo too.
