    Sig Spartan 1911

I kinda like it, its different.
  2. Thats one of the reasons I have soo many. To save time at the range. During qual days I didnt want to be the guy/gal that has 2 mags and has to reload during a qualification run.
  3. I think the moral of the story is to keep it simple. The more things you have on a rifle that arent really needed the more things can break and not function. Imagine a spring breaking on a collapsible stock and it just slides back and forth. I have personally seen people get wrapped up in crazy tacticool slings. I have seen people rely on optics soo much that when they fail they have problems with iron sights. Its a keep is simple stupid approach to firearms. Alot of guns look tacticool but if they dont work they arent much good. But to each his own.
  4. I guess its my topic so I'll start. Glock 19-13 15 rounders and 17 10 rounders... Glock 26-4 10 rounders... Glock 22-15 15 rounders... Beretta 92FS-2 15 rounders Springfield XD Service 9mm-3 10 rounders Kimber Custom II-2 8 round Chip McCormick and 13 MetalForm/Kimber 7 rounders.... When I had my Sig 229r DAK and my HK USPc LEM I had 3 each for them. Comming Soon: Glock 34-3 10 rounders Glock 23-3 13 rounders Hopefully I can add to these soon. I had a bunch more of the Glock mags but sold a bunch last year to fund my Kimber. Am I a MAG NUT? Rick
  5. You can always buy another one. I have a G34 paid for waiting for permits then the G23 Gen 3 on my list and to complete for the most part my 9mm collection a G17 Gen4. Glock 19 Glock 26 Glock 22 Gotta Love em...
  6. I had a 229 DAK in 9mm and IMO it felt terrible compared the HK LEM and Glocks triggers. I carried it for about 6 months then sold it. It was a good gun but just not for me. To me the LEM and Glock triggers are far better in reset distance and clean breaks.
  7. I really like the Streamlight/Insight Technologies M3. I have one on the house gun a Springfield XD 9 service and one on one of my off-duties glock 19. Never had a failure and never had a problem. I love them. If you are going to use a w/m/l practice with it, turning it on/off etc. Remember that you can identify your threat and still not point the weapon at them using the ambient light. Practice with the flashlight techniques also.
  8. Does anyone know where I can find a Mk3 magazine? I have looked all over including the shows. Any help would be greatly apperciated. Rick
  9. I love this database. Its wikipedia for guns!!! Some of the longest pages are Commando and A-Team(show not movie). If you havent seen or checked it out get on it. http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Main_Page Rick
  10. Glock 34 -waiting on permit already paid for. Glock 23-if funds allow with second permit Finish my PSA stripped lower Keltec Sub 2000 if I can find one..
  11. I have a KImber Custom II and love it. Bascially same gun except for the front serrations and night sights.
  12. MP Sport is a good weapon. Dont worry about the F/O assist too much. Altouthgh I have to instruct the use of it when I teach, generally I will elaborate if asked why its not needed. http://shootrite.wordpress.com/2010/09/19/the-shootrite-katana/ Great info and article on the black rifle. I am a firm believer.
  13. Maybe it wouldnt be all that bad with out the stock. That sets it over the edge, and I dont know if you need rails on a lever gun? But like anything a few people will buy them and then they go away then tons are people are paying alot more then they are worth just to have them.

    GSG 5 fans?

I have the older HK style GSG. The stock from rrages feels amazing. The regular stock is terrible compared to the HK stock. rrages has modified 15 round mags listed on his web site. Havent tried them yet but may plan on getting them.
  15. That is probably the most horrible thing I have ever seen in a firearm. That makes Hi-Point look good.
  16. I marker my mags with a sharpie that way I know which ones I have a problem with and diagnose or trash and move on.
  17. Anyone bought from the place on the corner down from CJRPC?
  18. Its funny you mention Millers. Thats where my first Rem 870 and Ruger 10/22 ame from. Stopped in there back in April and checked it out again. My dad went there when he was a kid growing up and later when he was a New Castle County cop.
