  1. That would be the 1994 AWB. Nobody has yet seen the text of the (potential) 2013 AWB, therefore anyone who tries to answer his question is talking out of his or her arse.
  2. Theres a bunch of pro-2a bills that have been submitted. Everything from going to straight NICS for purchases, eliminating OGAM to shall-issue CCW. http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/bills/BillsBySubject.asp go to PUBLIC SAFETY - WEAPONS Theres also this gem about requiring handgun ammo be serialized... http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2012/Bills/A4000/3704_I1.HTM
  3. Nothing. The section of the NJAC expired, and has since been renewed. Even if it hadn't been renewed, 2C:39-1w has no expiration date, and the AWB will not go away unless repealed.
  4. Mosins are $129 alone, 139 for the bayonet, and 149 for tools/ammo pouch/oiler
  5. They should fix their advertising, Type 1 armor is rated for .22lr and .380acp, NOT .38 special.
  6. Not only are FA weapons accessible legally in other states, one could argue they are easier to acquire illegally than they are to acquire legally, due to the costs involved. We can't stop drugs hemorrhaging across our borders, to think that FA weapons are any different is delusional. If the (organized) criminal element wanted them, they would have them.
  7. Is the chamber part of the magazine?
  8. Thank you for the comedic relief. I had a rather stressful day at work today. Now, as this is a gun board, I assume we are all adults. Can we please leave the insults back in third grade?
  9. No, you would be cited for speeding. Just because everyone else is speeding too, or everyone else is evading taxes, does not make it legal or correct.
  10. You do realize you just called probably the most radical libertarian on this forum a a "tax loving liberal?" Complaining that you will be forced to pay the tax you already owe because amazon is coming to nj is akin to complaining that you got pulled over for doing 70 on the turnpike.
  11. FYI, if you aren't paying the 7% use tax on amazon purchaes you are breaking the law.... That said, its Christie's fault amazon is coming here and will require you to pay the tax that you already owe? A couple jobs are coming but we have to follow the law now, and that's bad? That logic is just as asinine as the antis.

  13. Racking a round into the chamber is one more thing to go wrong when you're half asleep and concerned that you might actually have to shoot someone...
  14. Just got an email from NJ2AS that Christie will be giving a pro-2A speech... interesting after today.
  15. It would also be an "assault weapon" under the AG's guidelines. Semi-auto pistol with detachable magazine out of the pistol grip and a manufactured unloaded weight of 56oz.
  16. It refers to "arms." "The right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." The meaning of "arms" is plain and it does not mean muskets.
  17. They grandfathered current 10 round mags. Go buy any non-pocket pistol tomorrow and good luck getting mags for it.
  18. This is not entirely accurate. You need a FID to come into possession of handgun ammo while in NJ. If you already possess the ammo while not in NJ, you can bring it in with no problems. It's illegal to sell 1 round of 9mm to someone without an FID in NJ. But that same person could drive a whole truck full of ammo to his house so long as it bought it in any other state.
  19. I'll probably catch you at the Haddonfield station, no need to drive to Lindenwold if I can walk there.
