  1. What? That you and another dad stepped up to the plate to help out another family? I'd say your actions (and the other dad's) are what's right with this world, you just don't realize it. I bet the grandfather enjoyed talking to you.
  2. You can never have enough tools or motorcycles so I have to say, all of the above.
  3. Will do ! Gonna need a Husky fellow for the barbeque though, I'm just skin & bones !
  4. Who wants to be the Tunisian burning man? (The guy who cooked himself, commonly known to have started the "Arab Spring"), that's what it's going to take.
  5. Will they? And key words "IF a federal judge" I don't mean to be snarky, but keep in mind what's going on with the supreme court. I imagine, hope, alot of this forums readers are aware of this but here it is. The following was copied from: http://www.gunreports.com/news/handguns/Obama-Supreme-Court-Second-Amendment_928-1.html "On June 26, in the case District of Columbia v. Heller, the Supreme Court held in a split 5-4 decision that the Second Amendment secures a right to keep and bear arms for private citizens, and struck down the D.C. law that banned all handguns and readily-usable firearms, even in your own home. That decision turned on a single vote. The four liberal justices on the Supreme Court voted against the Second Amendment and to uphold the gun ban. They wrote that the Second Amendment confers no right whatsoever on private citizens, that Americans have no personal right to own guns of any sort, and the government can confiscate or ban them at will. "The Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms survived by the slimmest of margins. If a single justice had voted the other way, the Second Amendment would have been erased from the Constitution forever.… "[Obama] has said who he would appoint to the Supreme Court, and the justices he would appoint will take away our Second Amendment rights. He has singled out one justice on the Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, as his model for Supreme Court appointments. Justice Ginsburg was one of the four who voted that private citizens have no Second Amendment rights at all, and voted to uphold D.C.’s handgun ban. Majority Scalia, joined by Roberts, Kennedy, Thomas, Alito Dissent Stevens, joined by Souter, Ginsburg, Breyer Dissent Breyer, joined by Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg AND: McDonald v. Chicago (2010). Look this up yourself. Majority Scalia, joined by Roberts, Kennedy, Thomas, Alito Dissent Stevens, joined by Souter, Ginsburg, Breyer Dissent Breyer, joined by Stevens, Souter, Ginsburg Exactly Vlad. I wonder if a Hooters is part of the mall master plan? I think this is just a case of turning up the heat to boil the frogs faster. One more erosion of our unalienable rights. Inalienable VS. Unalienable rights explained: http://www.gemworld.com/USA-Unalienable.htm. I'm going to make this a forum topic, it is actually a pretty decent read.
  6. I'm in, just promise to be gentle on the zombie strippers though, they are so misunderstood.
  7. I heard this topic discussed on the radio today, and the thought of gun shops being the next target was one that immediately crossed my mind. Part of what baffles me is the statement "there are similar businesses in nearby Staten Island, N.Y". Huh......? So now our similiar business's have to move out of state? Well if that's the case then there are court rooms there too! This topic is an easy one to diverge from, (guns, strippers, law precedence, did I say strippers?) I have never seen a stripper in NJ, EVER, bikini dancers yes, strippers no. Maybe if the club owners just call it "Moe's Bikini Modeling Club", they'll get an exemption. Will the dude that drives his stripper wife/girlfriend to Long Island/Pennsy have to have a TSID (Transporting Stripper ID) card? Will she have to keep her stripper (bikini) outfit in the trunk? Gotta keep the ammo seperate from the weapon right? Again, there are fun tangents to this topic, and that's cool, but I'm fish'n for your thought's on the, ONLY IN NJ, precedent this is setting. Here is the AP press release I found on NJ.com NJ court OKs town's reason to keep out strip clubs Jan. 19, 2012, 5:51 p.m. EST AP TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — New Jersey's state Supreme Court says the town of Sayreville was within its rights to impose restrictions on a strip club because there are similar businesses in nearby Staten Island, N.Y. Thursday's ruling could be the final word in Sayreville's long legal battle with Club 35. The town said that such businesses could not be within 1,000 feet of homes, parks or houses of worship. The state's high court has previously said that such restrictions are allowable — but only if there are other places where that type of expression is available. Owners of Club 35 said there were no other businesses similar businesses in the area. But Sayreville said there are strip clubs on Staten Island. In a 5-1 ruling, the court said that reasoning was sound. o_pagetype="story"; o_indexpage="The_Associated_Press"; o_title="NJ court OKs town's reason to keep out strip clubs"; o_category=""; o_uid="f166f3ae1dd84b7c87f05f165bea9f3a"; o_date="Jan. 19, 2012, 5:51 p.m. EST"; o_pnum="1"; o_npgs="1";

  9. The first explainable lawful purpose that come to mind: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. But, that isn't respected in this state. Criminal Penalties for 4th Degree Crimes in New Jersey Fourth degree criminal offenses: Up to 18 months in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. If you are a first offender charged with a 4th Degree crime, you may be entitled to pretrial intervention (aka, first offender treatment.) If you are eligible from pretrial intervention, the charges against you can be dismissed if you successfully complete a period of probation. Examples of Fourth-Degree Crimes Aggravated assault (may be charged as 4th, 3rd, or 2nd degree crime) Criminal sexual contact Drug possession (in smaller quantities) Joy Riding Certain types of assaults including threat crimes Property Theft Crimes (if property value is between $200 $and $500) Shoplifting (items with full retail value between $200 and $500) Any other criminal conviction of the 4th degree. http://www.csclarklaw.com/faqs-about-new-jersey-law/what-are-the-penalties-for-4th-degree-crimes-in-new-jersey.html
  10. Well then lets redistiribute the wealth a little my friend, I don't have nearly enough guns.
  11. 2nd amendment as passed by the Congress: A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. 2nd amendment as ratified by the States and authenticated by Thomas Jefferson, Secretary of State: A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. "Judge William H. Walls (a Clinton appointee) ruled that "the Second Amendment does not include a general right to carry handguns outside the home." Characterizing the Second Amendment, he wrote "that privilege is unique among all other constitutional rights to the individual because it permits the user of a firearm to cause serious personal injury – including the ultimate injury, death – to other individuals, rightly or wrongly." And I pay this clowns salary. Where is it stated within the 2nd amendment qualifying when and where I may keep and bear arms? So I'm wrong even if I rightly defend myself? This AH's statement is exactly why the 2nd amendment exists.
  12. Got one too. Excellent breed. I've had big dogs before and they are great, but those little bostons are great. Very low shedding.
  13. It is spec'd at 51 LG's and there are holsters for 8 hand guns on the door. I think 40 LG's maybe a stretch but possible. The safe is good quality, much nicer than the cannon safes at Tractor Supply or Dicks.
  14. Oh, and buy dehydrated/freeze dried food (Sams club sells it under Auguson Farms Brand), learn how to plant a garden with your family (the ones that don't think your a racist), install a wood stove, teach your children how to handle a weapon, make alliances with your neighbors (the good hardworking ones. the ones getting the govt. hand outs will expect that to continue). Be SELF reliant. I think it is our obligation to each other to be self sufficent. Trust in the Lord but tie up your camel !
  15. Scary times indeed. We've lost that fuzzy feeling. Pick up a book called "501 Most Devastating Disasters" by Bounty Books. Basically one page readers digest versions on all sorts of disasters. The financial disasters will blow your mind(think repeat,repeat). The book was printed in the UK and authors are from uk too.
  16. The last sentence is the best, but "a hot corned beef the size of my head at The Kibbutz Room" almost tops it !
  17. If that's true, he must have an arsenal. Hey Ramsey :fugg:
  18. Decisions Decisions ......I think you need one of each.....
  19. You've made a nice investment so protect it. Dehumidify the whole basement as it will be all around healthier for you. Make sure you have a operating sump pump and the sump pit is covered. Raise the safe off the floor with a pallet, treated 2x4' or 4x4's. I used steel conduit cut the same width as my safe to roll it into position, you will need 4 or 5 pieces. Not only do you want the guns to stay dry but also the ammo and any shooting accessories. Placing it closer to the furnace, in my opinion, will have negligable effect at dehumidifying the safe. The dehumidifers listed above are a good cheap insurance policy.
