  1. Who are your PA friends, maybe I know them too. Give me their address and I'll see if I have them in my contacts.
  2. It's the only reason I even have an impact driver. I learned the easy way of removing them with an air hammer though. I just use a sharpened center punch chisel and get them to spin off with one pull of the trigger. Once I learned that, I almost never needed my impact driver again.
  3. Can't read the article without being a Comcast customer.
  4. You can still cut composites, with the proper attachments. Having said that, I avoid cutting rotors as much as I can because nobody drives like miss daisy and everyone complains about pulsation after a few thousand miles. When I do resurface rotors, I charge $30ea when also performing a brake pad replacement. Most times I do a civic like yours it would be around $250 to do brake pads and resurface.
  5. Whoa whoa whoa....you can get the powders mentioned? Tell you what, get yourself some Unique, then trade me for the Titegroup that I have.
  6. They have IR too, if you're going to use on a helmet with NODs

    Glock 42

I've also witnessed it along with a friend. We've basically chalked it up to being so snappy it's almost like limp wristing. Clamp that baby down and I'm willing to bet no more fte

    Glock 42

OP had an open ended question about looking for a pocket gun. All replies were anything but what you insist, except for your post insisting the rest of us didn't contribute to the OP.

    Glock 42

As someone with average sized hands, I have a very hard time getting a good purchase on a G42 in a hurry. I tried making it through a weekend combative course with one and I didn't even bring it with me for day 2. I'm not a pocket gun type of guy and I wouldn't buy a 42 if it came in 9mm either. [/2¢]
  10. I'm going to start doing this all the time than. I need to be moar tacticalz!
  11. I can't believe I've missed this thread until now. Why, in the name of sweet baby Jesus in a tuxedo t-shirt, would you drop your spent mag only to get on your knees to pick it up directly after?
  12. I have the performer. The pro has the green laser and additional 4oz of weight from the metal slide. I couldn't justify $100 more for that. Maybe you can? They are the same otherwise and I love using mine. I have it with me at work and use for trigger control work during down time, and also run drills at home. I've watched my IDPA points drop pretty dramatically since owning it. I'd like to think it played a part in tightening my accuracy. https://vimeo.com/115121614
  13. FIREclean...whether it's clean or dirty that's what I use. I have a FDE Glock 17 that started turning black near the muzzle. A minute of rubbing some FIREclean on there with a rag and it was good to go. I wipe it down with a touch of that stuff at every cleaning.
  14. The only day I can make it is the 21st. Is it worth it to go for the last day?
  15. I know a lot of people that are traditionally snobby about having Dillon presses. Don't get me wrong, they are fantastic pieces of equipment, but they come with a heft price tag. I've been using a Lee Pro 1000 for about 3yrs now and I have it set up with everything except a bullet collator (I manually fill tubes of bullets) and I love my setup. I can crank out 300+/hr without a single hiccup. My ONLY complaint is that I wish it had 5 stations so I could add a stand alone crimping die. Lee makes reloading affordable to everyone and with great quality and customer service. When looking for parts/accessories go to TitanReloading dot com
  16. You're absolutely right in how easily you can tell the difference in sound. Your guy is wrong though. I'd like to make this abundantly clear. There is nothing illegal about buying, selling, owning, or even swinging from a studded snow tire in NJ, as long as it's between Nov. 15 - Apr.1 . The thing about studded snow tires is that they raise the price over a standard snow tire and current tire technology is amazing. Studless snow tires can come damn close to making it feel like dry roads, so why stud and listen to them all day and with an added expense? Then, consider vehicle technology in traction control and all wheel drive. Studs are a thing of the past, but far from illegal. (N.J.S.A. 13.20-15.2g)
  17. Also incorrect. There's nothing illegal about studded snow tires in NJ as long as they're only on your vehicle between the dates I mentioned. It's the equivalent of saying "you can't buy hollowpoint in NJ" Yes, you can. However, there are rules (aka laws) to follow while you own them.
  18. You can use studded snows in NJ between Nov. 15 - April 1
  19. What car are these going on? R2's are a little more expensive if I'm remembering correctly. Nokians are by far, THE BEST winter tire available. Are Hak 5 or Hak 7's (non-studded option) available in your size? What about WR-G3?
  20. I really like the way this one came out too. Very simple appearance and awesome retention. Very positive, audible *click*. Don't have to worry about a high back for mounting a strap or anything like that.
  21. I think Mikey is likely on point here. The bullet might be tumbling as it exits the barrel due to excessive wear which will make it bounce as it travels through the barrel.
  22. Thank you for the kind words Ed. That blue really pops on camera. Topher, you'll be first to know when I do.
