Just found this thread. The Henry Golden Boy looks great but I think I want the H001T (Octagon Barrel). I just held it at Efinger in Bound Brook and it felt really solid. They wanted $379, FYI. The H001T felt better, 20" barrel. I believe they had a H001, shorter barrel (18.25" according to Buds), but I didn't hold that one. H001T can fire 22 S, L, and LR. H001 is only LR and also isn't the octagon barrel. Also is ~$100 cheaper. If anyone has a H001T that is used and they're looking to sell, please PM me...

Didn't say I wanted to, just was curious if it was legal or not. That's like asking "why do people put up signs on their property saying "Screw the dog, beware the owner?" Either way, I would think to most people in this state catching the glimpse of a firearm would we a good sign to move on to another house if you were planning on robbing it.

Just a random question, is it legal to open carry when say, answering your door, as a deterrent? Expecting a no, but it is private property. Just a thought.

Flyers fan. Wow the Flyers are just getting stomped. Devils forecheck has been nothing short of stellar and the Flyers don't seem to adjust to it at all, just sit back and think their style can beat the Devils. So their breakout is broken from the start, and the rest of their play just topples along with it. Well, following that logic put them down 3-1. I can't see this series going past game 5. Devils are doing exactly what they need to do. Bryzgalov had a great game tonight. Too bad he was the only Flyer that showed up.

Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of defensive fights but if it's going to be defensive I'd prefer to see it go to wrestling or jujitsu. GSP on the ground is a thing of beauty to watch. But watching the two supposed best fighters in the world for that division (Evans and Jones) dance around in circles for 25 minutes isn't entertaining. The Koscheck-Hendricks fight is a great example of a really REALLY good fight that just went to decision, even though I'd prefer to see a TKO/submission rather than decision. Both guys were throwing solid punches that were connecting but both had granite chins. As Hendricks said, Koscheck is a tough guy, and he couldn't knock him out. I love Koscheck's fight (even if he is a total d-bag). Regardless, I was on the edge of my seat for that entire fight (literally). I've heard on and off things about the people who actually go to fights. Some love the sport, others just want to see people get knocked out. I'd rather just get the PPV. You get a camera angle from 10 feet away, vs. watching ants fight from the upper level.

I caught the Koscheck-Hendricks fight and the Miller-Diaz fight and both were quality fights. Better than the Evans-Jones fight the week before. Championship matches keep turning into survival matches and are boring as all hell now.

This is key more than anything. I shut down my apps whenever I get a chance. Great way to save battery life. I've heard a lot of people who complain about battery life often don't know about shutting apps down.

Yeah I've never seen it go below 20%, even when I was using it a lot through the day. I've been happy with the battery life. For example, my fiancee is playing Bejeweled, and will probably play for another hour. It was at 75% now. Probably will be between 60-65% when I get it back. And that's an hour of straight playing. If you don't use it constantly, battery life shouldn't be an issue.

I have the iPhone 4S. I think right now depending on how close you are to a major city 4G isn't even possible. Still very limited coverage. http://network4g.ver...com/#!/coverage and click "4G LTE Cities" on right. I had a Blackberry before and couldn't wait to get rid of it. I messed around with a few Droids from family and friends and didn't like them. The iPhone was small, great quality screen, never seemed to slow down on anything, and was exactly what I wanted. Plus the largest selection of apps. I would in no way consider myself an Apple fanboy, but the iPhone won me over. I've heard good thing about the Samsung Galaxy series but I believe they're not on Verizon. Only other phone I would have considered other than the iPhone.

I'd agree with this. All 3 of those are probably the best choices. And agree with everyone else. If you have to ship it to an FFL if you buy it at Cabela's anyway, you might as well find it online and have it shipped. Odds are you'll get a cheaper price from the price request here or online anyway. I believe Buds offers free shipping on their guns.

Exactly. And if someone is really concerned about how close you are to the 30th day, just wait a day or two. By the time you reach Day 32 you're clearly good to go. If you don't plan to go shooting between Day 30-32 then it's not a big deal to wait a few days.

News to me. Thanks to everyone for clarifying. Stinks that possession is illegal. I primarily shoot in PA. As much as I like my 15 round mags I'd like to have a 30 just as an option to use when I'm out in PA. Looks like I don't have that option at all.

I don't think you can put rape or killing on the same level as that video. That's at a whole, much worse level. In the end the video was an accident, not a senseless, cruel act. Your responses seem like a bit of an overreaction. Also I wasn't convincing people to watch it. If you took that as the message, my mistake. I was explaining what happened, I figured some people wouldn't want to watch it. When I was in high school my school was one of the lucky ones that showed the "drive smart" videos for Drivers Ed. Being they showed videos of horrible crashes with blood and guts everywhere. Guy hanging through his windshield because he didn't wear a seatbelt. Limbs on the road from brutal crashes. All real video, where the gory parts are in black and white. It sucks that you witness someone die or someone dead, but it gets the message across: Slow down in when driving bad conditions. If anything, that's what people should take away from this video. No one is immortal, so don't drive like you are.

As much as the thought of witnessing someone dying sucks, it isn't anything gruesome or over the top. Guy skids and swerves, slides in front of 18 wheeler in opposite lane, car breaks apart into thousands of pieces. No blood, no fire, no screams. Compared to some of the stuff you can find on the internet, this video's a cake walk. Apparently it's not THAT bad otherwise Youtube would have yanked it already.

For the Glock: You can find places that will block the 17 round mags to make them 15 rounders. And have you considered the Glock 19? That has a 15 round mag and is 100% legal as is. For the AK: I bought a WASR-10 and had it sent to Jet Agent LLC (on this forum) and they removed the bayonet lug and did something else (I forget) and made it NJ legal. Not like you'd need the bayonet mount anyway. There's also a place called MTN Armory that blocks 30 round mags and makes them to the NJ legal max of 15. Just a thought. I am kind of glad I won't be getting a 30 round mag just because I don't want to fly through ammo so quickly. If anything, Just get 2-15 round mags and practice on your reloading while in the middle of shooting. Get a little extra out of shooting your 30 rounds. Then when you move out of state you can just go buy 30 round mags for it, problem solved.

Went shooting today with DevsAdvocate @ North Jersey Clay Target Club in Fairfield. Put the new Mossberg 500 to use. Had a good time, and improved upon my scores from last time (10, 9, 10, 8). Great day overall. And what's becoming an awesome custom, we hit up Five Guys afterwards for lunch.
