  1. I honestly think that Christie's approach to gun control is to fly under the radar and do nothing because (1) he wants a run at President, and (2) he's a Republican in a primarily Democratic state. However, just because that's what he thinks, doesn't mean that's what will happen because... ....whoever has the money has the power. So yes, something is going on, and right now it would seem that the exceptionally rich in certain states are not interested in the peons having firearms (see: NY.)
  2. Thanks for the updates considering the Livestream audio isn't working for me.
  3. You've made it obvious you're just ranting or venting and don't actually want to engage in a discussion, so I will gladly move on from any posts you make. Good day sir.
  4. Not quite sure where I'm being politically correct, but you're welcome to point it out. Stereotyping is counter-productive to either side's argument.
  5. You do realize you sound exactly like how the extreme left talks about gun owners, right? 'Whacked out rednecks hopped up on alcohol with their assault rifles' This mindset on either side is exactly the problem. The stereotyping needs to stop.
  6. As soon as I opened it I was laughing at my desk. Thanks for this.
  7. I also think Surefire is out of touch with the enthusiast light market. They make basic, reliable duty lights but flashaholics want more. With that said, my 870 has a Maelstrom MM-X Neutral on it and I am quite happy with it.
  8. Get hands on with both. The M9 is for large hands or long fingers and I find it very comfortable after adding the Hogue wrap-around grip. If you end up liking both, then all I have to say is welcome to the disease. There is no cure.
  9. No grandfathering already happened when NJ's current AWB was enacted.
  10. Googling for NY 7 round magazine was not giving me anything. Daily news has a story, and this site seems pretty obviously anti. Because the entire country is NY and NJ? I have no idea what you're getting at. They will still be able to sell their mags for a profit most likely. Just look at glock mags on gunbroker. Like I said, 7 round limit is bull, I'm not defending it, but they will be able to unload those mags in no time at all.
  11. Can someone provide a link please? The only good news is they will likely not have any financial loss because of the buying spree in the rest of the country. I bet some make money on their magazines. Regardless, 7 rounds is total bull.
  12. My vote is S&W or Springfield for a 1911. As for picking a polymer, striker-fired 9mm, the best thing you can do is go hold and/or shoot them all. I can shoot Glock, S&W M&P, and Springfield XDs just fine, but the M&P is the most comfortable in my hand. If you're looking for a metal 9mm then I'd suggest a Beretta 92FS or Sig P226. Really though, there's so many 9mm handguns that it's mostly personal preference on what feels comfortable, what you shoot the best, and what you like the look of.
  13. I know I've read it on this forum before, but hasn't Christie said he would veto any additional gun legislation?
  14. I think it's cool of them to limit it to 1 case. It lets people that just like to shoot here and there not get their fun ruined by the hoarders.
