School now a days is so much different then when I was in school. Especially elementary school i think people are a to paranoid these days. Deadeye74, that is just ridiculous that a note got sent home cause your daughter told a kid NO. I remember some of the things I did in elementary school and if it were in todays society i cant imagine what would have happened. So I tried looking and could not get a answer I am looking for. I have a friend who inherited a Winchester Model1894 from 1914 and he does not want it and wants to sell it. Now he does not have his FID card but the person who wants to buy it does. So how can he go about selling the rifle to the buyer.

I dont know if laws have changed but in 2006/2007 cant remember, I went to Cabelas in PA and bought a Gammo BBgun with just my DL and was asked no questions whatsoever. Mind you back then I wasnt aware that they were illigal to possess without a FID card as I didnt know any of the laws I just wanted it to shoot cans in my back yard.

You could apply for your Utah CCW yourself and you dont have to take any courses and should run under $100 with the app fee,fingerprints,photo,and doing it yourself is probably the cheapest way

Submitted all paperwork on July 11th 2012 for Initial FID & 2 P2P been 11 weeks or 77 days and Nada !! I know they have everything they need cause I called 2 weeks ago and they said we have everything we need it just needs to be overlooked by a captian

I buy gold and if you are making a purchase that big such as the guy who got beat and you are not taking the steps to protect yourself buying 40oz of gold then imo you deserve to get beat for being lazy, in this business there are tons of people trying to pull scams I see it all the time, A gold buyer up the street from me got beat for $12K because he was lazy and did not re test gold that a customer brought in and then came back later on to sell it

Well after contacting NJ2AS and the NJSP Firearms Investigation Unit the 2 towns who were not responding to my PD's request magically both showed the same day, now it didnt prevent them from doing so, but from what i got from the NJSP a Lieutenant did say well there technically not suppose to do that but if they really want to they can do whatever they feel fit to do there investigation. But overall im happy i got a response and was helped out, so im hoping next week ill have my FID&P2P

Well I called the NJSP Firearms Investagation Unit and spoke to a Sgt and he told me they can request a records check i.e. calls to my previous address for domestic calls etc... so now i just feel like im screwed but im not gonna give up and im calling the towns myself and also calling the mayor of the town. * And someone from NJ2AS was nice enough to also send a E-Mail to the NJSP Firearms Investagation Unit on my behalf.

Well I contacted them and hopefully I will get some response and get my FID Card soon, Thanks for all the info

Its not a additional form I filled out, its them(Plainfield PD) contacting other towns for "unknown" reasons but ive heard its for a letter of good conduct. But yes I joined NJ2AS today ,and I sent a PM to 2 forum memebrs i believe to be linked to NJ2AS
