IMHO This is a design problem with the gun. If you accidentally bump that big release you can get the double feed. Not much fun if you need it. You can learn not to go near it but it still could become an issue at the wrong time.
  2. I think you are confused...this sounds like BIG government.
  3. I can see this popping up on the Antiques Roadshow in 25 years (mint condition with the box of course). lol

  6. I just checked and they don't ship to NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, and of course New Jersey (as well as a bunch of foreign countries). http://www.topairgun.com/shipping-info
  7. Check out this site: http://www.topairgun.com/45-cal-air-rifles
  8. I had looked into a .45 or .50 caliber air gun at one point which are available.
  9. "with sufficient force to injure a person." That might be the current definition but I wonder how the taser is a "less lethal" weapon if is designed to not "permanently" injure someone? I agree with all of this but then a spitball fired out of straw could be considered a firearm. I guess I shouldn't give NJ legislatures any ideas or straws will be banned from NJ schools.
  10. I had a feeling that NJ was not a part of the rest of the United States. 2015 New Jersey Revised Statutes Title 2C - THE NEW JERSEY CODE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE Section 2C:39-1 - Definitions. http://law.justia.com/codes/new-jersey/2015/title-2c/section-2c-39-1/ f."Firearm" .......
  11. "Firearm or firearms" means any handgun, rifle, shotgun, machine gun, assault firearm, automatic or semi-automatic rifle, or any gun, device or instrument in the nature of a weapon from which may be fired or ejected any solid projectile, ball, slug, pellet, missile or bullet, or any gas, vapor or other noxious thing, by means of a cartridge or shell or by the action of an explosive or the igniting of flammable or explosive substances. It shall also include, without limitation, any firearm which is in the nature of an air gun, spring gun or pistol or other weapon of a similar nature in which the propelling force is a spring, elastic band, carbon dioxide, compressed or other gas, or vapor, air or compressed air, or is ignited by compressed air, and ejecting a bullet or missile smaller than three-eighths of an inch in diameter, with sufficient force to injure a person.
  12. I am not sure that a BB gun is the same as a Taser. A BB gun meets the definition of a firearm. I am not sure a Taser does though.
  13. Do you have gmail installed on the iphone (my wife gets similar traffic messages after an upgrade and was able to disable these traffic notifications). I would be surprised if Apply doesn't do something similar to what gmail does.
  14. I have never used this but the NRA has a discount code for what seems like most of the companies: https://benefits.nra.org/car-rentals/
  15. I wouldn't try in Maryland but in theory you can bring a firearm between residences. Your hotel should be your temporary residence. Or instead bring a shotgun/rifle which should be legal in Maryland. btw: IANAL and have not first hand knowledge about Maryland so take this as a grain of salt.

    What's missing

How about a 10 mm auto and a .44 magnum revolver?
  17. The spill from most weapon lights will be sufficient so you shouldn't be pointing a loaded firearm directly at anyone until you are ready to use it.
  18. Welcome to NJ. To add on to what others have said you are not required to tell a LEO that you have guns/ammo in your car. Just politely decline to answer (if they ask) and that does not give them probably cause to search your vehicle. If you want to be paranoid about it (which can be a good thing in NJ although lots of people make fun of this) stop at a range in PA before crossing the Delaware. Snap a selfie at the range (maybe get a receipt for something) and now will be legally transporting your stuff from a range to your home (traveling as directly as possible). Good luck and again welcome.
