  1. 1. Call the court at least 7 days prior to the pay by date / court date and let them know that you are going to plead not guilty. 2. Arrive on time (this is the biggest thing you can do in your favor) and speak to the prosecutor. A. The prosecutor will offer you a plea deal (depends on offense but usually higher fine = no points). B. You were late, acted like an assclown or your drivers abstract is atrocious = no deal. 3. You can accept the deal and plead guilty to the lesser offense. Make sure you bring some form of payment. Cash or check, most Municipal Courts do not accept credit cards. 4. Decline the plea deal, call a lawyer, pay his fees and lose another day of your life to come back to court. More likely or not you will wind up pleading to the same deal the prosecutor offered. For minor traffic offenses you can handle yourself. DWI, accident with injury (your at fault) or multiple moving violations I would definitely get a lawyer. Almost all motor vehicle stops are recorded by video and audio usually up to one minute prior to the officer activating his emergency warning lights.

  3. I used something very similar to this on my Glock 35 frame. Take your time, and don't let your OCD get the best of you while doing this. Funny thing was the glock polymer melted quicker than the PMAG polymer.
  4. So I just got 1000 9MM 147g IbejiHeads bullets. Anyone work up any load data for these? https://www.ibejiheads.com/product_info.php?cPath=1&products_id=5&osCsid=6248d412ebcd0638eaca66d97e20c93e
  5. Yes 22 to 1 is doable with 2 relays. However, with Alias' history of severely overbooking classes, I am skeptical at best. Would love to attend a course taught by LAV, but would need to see some guarantee or cap on the maximum number of students allowed. (not how many can we fit on the range at one time)
  6. Stock work is all complete. This was an unfinished Boyds stock that I found in my garage (purchased in 2009), funny how you find things you forgot about when you're actually looking for something else. Finish is 7 coats of danish oil, and beeswax / turp mix was applied.
  7. After reading the initial complaint filed by the US attorney, it doesn't look good for stag. Especially the whole "machine gun" classification for a bunch of the firearms seized. Also, the employee that told the ATF about the "spare" unserialized receivers being stored off site from where they were made doesn't help them out either. Looks like major non-complinace issues with NFA regulations, and manufacturing. If this goes to trial (and the FEDS never go to trial, unless they know they can win) Stag, and it's owners are not going to come out of this intact.
  8. I picked up a Giraud last year for trimming .308 win. and 300AAC Blackout. Will never go back, well worth the money spent....
  9. So i thought the stock was gonna be walnut. Not so, I think it might be birch? The rear hand guard is definitely walnut BEFORE AFTER
  10. The gas cylinder and front sight match "IHC" profile. The only part that is not IHC is the bolt. 12SA heat lot A8W (Nov 1942 only)
  11. here's the rest of the pics Throat erosion is great at a "3" AND HERE IS THE REASON WHY IT'S GRADED AS A "FIELD GRADE" RIFLE JUST THE TIP.... AND WE NOW GO BALLS DEEP IN HER..... Stock was nothing special, looks like overseas replacement walnut stock. No markings what so ever. Very dirty, rear hand guard and stock match, front hand guard is new replacement wood from the CMP.
  12. When the CMP announced the release of the IHC M1 Garands, I decided to throw my hat into the ring. I put in for a "Gap Letter" receiver, but I did not make the cut. i got a email asking if I would like a Field grade with an "LMR Barrel". I've been following some of the other forums, and read where the only part on the rifle that was "IHC" was the receiver. I didn't really care either way, I've always wanted a "Tractor" rifle. George at Oakridge Gun service ($32.10 for transfer and NICS) called me the other day to let me know the rifle was in. Lets just say I am extremely happy with what the CMP sent me....
  13. What does your rear sight look like? There are two versions..
  14. After reading the tort claim, all I can say is: wow there is gonna be a long list of discovery material requested....
  15. i have a PWS FSC30 on my 300 AAC Blackout build, I like it a lot. Haven't shot it a lot around other guys on the line, so I don't know if its brutal to the people to your left and right.
  16. yes Lee does make dies for 300 AAC Blackout. http://www.titanreloading.com/lee-300-aac-blackout-3-die-set?filter_name=300%20aac%20blackout&filter_description=true I think Titan reloading was the only place i could find spare decap rods. http://www.titanreloading.com/lee-se3009-ez-x-exp-300-aac-blackout?filter_name=300%20aac%20blackout

Most of them are good to go, but the "thin web" FC that turned up a few years back tends to have thicker walls and will cause neck thickness problems. The FC that runs thicker is the newer stuff. Has beautiful annealing marks on it. Has FC @ 12:00, numbers @ 3:00 and/or 9:00 (May have both, could just have one), and the year @ 6:00 Note 2: NPA is very low quality brass, with a super small flash hole, and is likely to cause broken or stuck decapping pins, or other problems. Note 3: The brass marked with this note may require extra sizing force, and machine flex may cause them to headspace too large if the machine is not set up specifically to do this "harder sizing" brass. This is due to thicker brass, alloy variations, or variations in factory anneal. This isn't always universal within a headstamp, for example, some older PPU had the problem and others did not. Note 4: This brass is included in both the good and the bad list based on differing user reports. It is important to keep in mind that sometimes a single headstamp can be made at multiple factories on multiple differing manufacturing processes. Other times a manufacturer that has their own brass factory might bring in brass from another manufacturer during times of high demand or to fulfill a large contract.
  19. 14.5" Barrel with PWS FSC30 compensator, carbine length gas system. using the hornady bullet comparator and measuring of the bullet olgive I set the COL to 1.5". Just remember to zero you calipers with the comparator installed. This is for feeding reliability with magazines. Blue arrow shows how the case neck of a 5.56 rides along the inside rib of the magazine. When we cut down and re-neck a case to 300 AAC Blackout, we are now using the bullet (RED ARROW) to ride along the inside rib of the magazine. Setting the correct seating depth so thickness of the bullet is the same thickness of the case neck of a 5.56 will give you more reliable feeding.
  20. 17.2 grains of Lil gun with 125gn bullet (sierra OTM, or Hornady SST) great results out of my Blackout rifle.
  21. I've got a couple of questions: 1. So is the club a "not for profit" or a "private corporation"? 2. Who else on the board (and their family members) are on the payroll? It would be interesting to see the amounts paid out the the BOD and family members and the breakdown of what the payments were for. 3. How was the rate of pay set @ $102,000 for the one board member, was this a vote by the general membership or an executive decision? 4. Is there a job description posted for project manager, and what are the qualifications? 5. So the membership is looking into some Tom Foollery thats been going on with the checkbook and the BOD. So the BOD gets a(n) (defense) attorney to advise them (the BOD) on the MEMBERSHIPS' DIME. Why is the membership paying for the legal defense of the BOD, and what's this gonna cost the membership? 6. Is the project manager position a "contract position" that is awarded out by the BOD? 7. Who do I PM on here to get access to the CJR&PC section.
  22. After wet tumbling, I rinse the brass in cold water to get any residual lemon shine / dish detergent off. I then spread the brass out on a towel on a lunch tray. Using the sneaker rack that goes in the clothes dryer I place the lunch tray in the dryer for about 30 minutes on medium heat to dry off the brass. If you really need to have that brass super shiny, you could then use corn cob media in a vibratory tumbler.
