  1. The premise falls apart if during the 12 hours, every arsonist and bomb maker blew up and burned the infrastructure to the ground since no emergency services will be deployed to quell the damage before it gets too large. 12 hours to destroy every hospital, gas station, police station, power plant, etc. By the time the 12 hours finishes the country will make Katrina, Fukashima, Chernobyl, the 2004 Tsunami and the 1871 Chicago Fire look like a blip.
  2. Can a stock be pinned in the closed position if the overall rifle length meets total rifle length requirements? Or does it always have to be pinned extended?
  3. shitbags, boy does that term suit the bill.
  4. No one stormed anything, if you read the article and search around for other accounts of the evening, the group of costumed actors hung out in the lobby with Iron Man, Nick Fury and all the other movie characters while kids and adults got to experience seeing some movie heroes. Hoplophobic parents shit their pants at the sight of plastic toy guns with orange tips and called the police.
  5. this guy sounds like he wasn't legally allowed to have firearms, from what I read he was a sex offender.
  6. No, not with bullets but with words I think he hit the nail on the head, the teacher should be passionate about educating and imparting knowledge to their students, not mailing it in with worksheets to pass some test. It's good to see a student actually be concerned about it, most of the kids in the class looked like they just wanted him to shut up and leave.
  7. Colion Noir commented on this, so it's getting out there slowly... http://www.mrcolionnoir.com/second-amendment/2-senators-and-a-cup-of-stupid/
  8. Go to AC Moore or Micheal's and pick up sheet magnet, then just make your own. Been doin it for years, works great.
  9. The trained Air Marshall missing is yet another argument against limiting magazine capacity. I'm thankful the only life lost was the shooters.
  10. absolutely. leaving the gate to your swimming pool open while your 2 year old wanders the yard is no different. This is about negligence, not about guns. It's senseless and completely avoidable. So sad for the loss of life. And make no mistake, the media is seizing on every one of these stories whenever they can to wave it as a "see!!"
  11. Senseless and completely avoidable. I would amend your sentence though to read "...keep guns away from young children unless completely supervised" Another loss due to negligence.
  12. Chris from Bullseye told me about it.
  13. God forbid that finger print id device fails in a defensive gun use scenario for LE or law abiding citizens.
  14. In that case why bother having a home defense firearm at all?
  15. I've been searching for a while, do you know which of the many threads about the Boston incident had the discussion pertaining to the OP's question? thanks in advance!
  16. Tavor SAR if you can find one.
  17. So if you were in that area you would not be home carrying with a armed terrorist on the loose? What's the point of owning legal firearms then?
  18. Having this topic front and center has allowed me to talk about guns and gun rights with friends who are anti. I have been increasingly amazed at how many of them truly believe that guns just "go off". It's been mind blowing. I've opened a lot of eyes when I explain things to them.
  19. Says the guy who's company produces a beverage involved in more deaths, rapes and injuries than all of firearms combined.... He can go scratch. The beer sucks too.
  20. ahh, ok, so it is the break that does it. got it! thanks man!
