  1. Or we can nut up? Make this our Lexington and Concord? Violence is, sometimes, the answer. Just an idea. It works for the Left. They love burning shit down when they feel marginalized. Maybe get a free TV and some Air Jordans out of it as well. Why are we sitting on our hands? Nah, we have 1200 channels of shit on TV. Who cares about rights. Amiright? Either way. I'm planning my exfil.
  2. What I mean is that I can't believe we are discussing this as if one is okay to loose (vertical foregrips) and the other isn't (forward handguard) The loss of either is unacceptable. Having said that, I agree. Bitching and moaning here, won't do shit, and you are right, it's time to leave. It's been time to leave for a while, not it's just more urgent.
  3. That is how I read it. Nappen appears to understand it the same way according to his FB for what it's worth. Once again, the law is vague. Be it maliciousness or ignorance, I don't know. They could mean something like a Magpul AFG by "second handgrip" but anything other than the pistol grip or palm swell where you would put your support (non-triggered) hand is a second handgrip is it not? They specify a "protruding grip" separately. Seems to me like all magazine fed semi autos are fucked regardless of any other feature unless it doesn't have a stock or handguard. The fact that we are discussing this is nauseating. Were you guys willing to accept this law if it was only vertical foregrips? Really? You are okay ending up like NYC? Really?
  4. You believe incorrectly. " Under the bill, additional criteria are added including a thumbhole stock and a second handgrip or a protruding grip that can be held by the non-trigger hand. The bill also requires that only one criteria be met, rather than the currently required two." both/either will be evil features.
  5. Yeah pretty much all. This bill would make a "second handgrip" an evil feature. How many rifles do you know that you hold with one hand? Every magazine fed semi auto will be an "Assault Weapon"
  6. I don't see discussion of S548 here. It's the new and improved AWB which would make all of our semi-auto's illegal over night. Fun, right?
  7. I will not comply. Way to roll over. Pansies.

    30 rd mags

That's my line of thinking as well...
  9. No compromise. Not one inch. Give no quarter!
  10. That is what they said, they also said that because my grip is stipples it may have gotten longer than spec. That seems odd to me since factory mags seat just fine with clearance from the top of the base plate to the bottom of the grip. I ran ran some measurements and it's off by almost 1/8" (.1325") that's not just "a little sanding". Something is a miss. My dad has an early untouched M&P9. I will see if it works on his. If not, that's 0/3 so it can't be me. Looks like Ike I'll be returning it. I have access to SolidWorks and CNC equipment maybe I should just make my own lol.
  11. Front of the baseplate appears to hit the magwell and the mag won't go in far enough to seat/latch. Back to the drawing board.
  12. Well, got the magwell and no joy with factory mags/baseplate. Fuck me runnin'
  13. I was at Lewistown this past weekend to see what my Tac A1 308 and OBR could do at 1000 yards. For shits and giggles I took my home brew 5.56 SPR with Noveske 18" barrel. I've shot it at 200 yards on a regular basis at Fort Dix but never beyond that. They had 12x12 club steel out to 800Y and a 24" gong at 1000Y. I started at 300 and was able to walk it out making hits on steel all the way to 700 yards!!!!!!!!!! I was shooting factory PPU 75gr ammo. Not even Mk262!!! I hit 4 or 5 out of 10 at 700Y. At 800 I could not see the bullet splash so I could not see how bad I was missing and/or correct for it. At 500 yards they had an IDPA torso size steel target hanging at a 45 degree angle. Hitting that wasn't even a challenge. I was beyond surprised. .223 seems to be pretty damn good making it out that far. Never thought it would.
  14. Looks awesome! Love the cerakote. I just picked up a Tikka Tac A1 and was thinking about making it FDE...
  15. Agreed. Dropping them on the deck baseplates can break, feed lips can bend. I'd rather just get a new mag and stash it.
  16. lol. They wear out. Thought HRC would get elected...
  17. Gave up hu? Wanna sell the magwell? :-) Thanks for the heads up! Much appreciated!!!
  18. Seems like a rather simple request, but alas. I can find a magwell for my Glock or VP9 which works wth factory magazine baseplates, why is it so hard to find one for the M&P9? All inwant is a magwell. I don't want to spent more than the cost of a magazine on baseplates to retrofit the 40+ mags I have for my M&Ps to work with a magwell. The only one I have found it some crap plastic one that looks like ass and probably functions just as well Any my ideas gentlemen? Thanks in advance.
  19. You as well! Hope to see you at more of Joe's classes. Thanks!
  20. Thanks sir! I was messing with it last night, measuring screwes and so on. Turns out the screwes wouldn't even go all the way down the hole. Cleaned the threads on the slide really well and the screwes went in an additional .150". I used some silicone tape to put more pressure onto the battery, similar to the shoe goo. Tightened it down well. Hope this works.
  21. I would think the AK class will be similar to his Carbine 1 class.
  22. I'll be there with my wife. Trying to get her back into taking classes. She hasn't taken a class since MDTS stoped teaching in NJ. Also got two friend's (father and son) to go as well. Really not looking forward to the heat.
  23. Just saw this on Evan Nappen's FB page. Never thought this would happen. Pleasantly surprised. This may help us Ina year when Trenton passes a 5 round magazine limit.
