  1. Get a .308 and have fun. So many platforms hit the market this year and they are starting to become standardized with parts swapping. Ammo and reloading components are eas to find in bulk as well.
  2. Tough brass to find in quantity.
  3. Bullseye, Buy it all, get your friends to buy what you can't.
  4. I want one that accepts sig mags or any non-glock type.
  5. You can't borrow your way out of debt......unless you're America.
  6. .... Because they are in the business to make money and will continue to do what's best for them as a business.
  7. I'm really trying hard to understand your comments, really. I know plenty of people at gun clubs that question the NRA's involvement with NJ. I'm trying to help fix a broken institution but what is the NRA doing to help myself and so many more in this State? The clubs and so many members of each share in the same beliefs, but shame on us for questioning what the NRA does for us? I don't see many workers in that big beautiful office building losing sleep, but too many of NJ gun owners do because there's a real chance we will wake up and be criminals. You don't see me aggravated about price for this or that, but where my money is going and how it's being allocated, absolutely.
  8. So the NRA turns its back on NJ and writes it off as a lost cause, we did it to ourselves? That's plain rubbish. NJ needs help and as long as the NRA shrugs us off and our media outlets pummel us into the ground with editorials, NJ gun owners will continue to scrape by and whine at meetings. All I hear about is "donations" to help NJ2A. Tired of it, I want the big bad 2A Gun Bank aka NRA to start throwing pallets of cash money our way. If NJ is a lost cause, ok, fine. Then the gun clubs I belong to shouldn't make it mandatory for me to be a NRA member and use my NRA money instead to help support local politicians.
  9. I will only consider paying for a life membership if Anthony from GFH promises to try to get on the board every time till he succeeds. Other than that, still don't believe the NRA truly believes in helping the plight of NJ gun owners. I don't want to hear about this rep or that rep coming to meetings. I want to see a picture of our State on the cover of their monthly mag stating "Enough is Enough!" with a firm declaration to help us till we get our proper 2A rights back. That entails a continuous assault of campaigns, advertisements, lobbyists, etc... I want to see some real money spent on us, our State! Until then, I feel as though my hard earned money goes into their beautiful office building and staff...... Ever see that office building? NRA sends a rep..... HA!
  10. They should bulldoze the entire club and start fresh. The first and primary objective would be to install a 1000 yard rifle range (yes, it can fit). That's all I care about right now
  11. I would like to know what the NRA specifically does for NJ. We would be so fortunate to have to abide by the federal standard.
  12. Here's my AR, have a new scope and will spray it as well.
  13. I really like the Rock River .308' but won't buy one because of the mag choice. If the rifle won't shoot PMAGs, I don't want it.
  14. No chrono yet, last piece of gear I don't have but need. Can't shoot my big $$$$ plates with that caliber, lol. You get the 10" which should be a breeze out to 600 yards at new holland. Lets do this.
  15. I belong to cjrpc which is a 300 meter baby range, but it is a great range. I can bring two experienced guests at a time and let's ring some steel. I try to shoot at cjrpc once a week and prefer a Sunday afternoon or 4pm'ish on Thursday. If you're already a member, great, lets pick a time and shoot. If there's serious interest after shooting at cjrpc and want to record more data, I'm a member at new holland . That ranges out to 600yards and they said they will bump it out to 800 yards next year. I can use club steel at every 100 yards and set up more steel every 25 & 50 yards to help you guys build a nice dope card. I'm allowed to bring 3 guests per visit and contribute $5 per guest to the club. It would be cool for us to experience different platforms and optics first hand.
  16. It's a .50 bmg upper. You can shoot this in old bridge???
  17. I just received a .50 cal upper/rifle and would like to test drive it. Anyone a member of a NJ range that will allow the firing of this rifle? I would like to test reliability and then sight in the scope. I'm a member at Mifflin County and prefer not to drive 4 hours right now. Of course I would pay all fees and ammo for you to shoot my .50 at your NJ range. I can also bring my .308 gasser if you want to shoot precision. If you're not familiar with precision rifle shooting, I would be more than happy to teach you the basics of position, MIL ranging with a scope, calculating mils and entering dope, wind, spotting, etc.. If you like, we can work as a team on some drills I have all the gear and guarantee a fun yet informative time, but will warn that you will probably get addicted. I take no responsibility if your wife yells at you for making large future purchases.
  18. Consider this, Smart gun sells thus enacting the three year law. Fast forward 3 years and 1 month and the manufacturers go belly up. Can nj say "too bad, you need a smart gun and just have to wait till somebody produces it again"? See where this can go. If you guys were really smart, start thinking decades into the future. You can buy a blemish lower here and a lower parts kits there, but understand this and allow it to ring loudly throughout your head, a tidal wave of bad things is coming to pro2nd nj owners.
  19. My .308 rings steel all day long out to 800y and if my wind reading is on, rings the 1000 gong.
  20. I only ask due to the intended range of the rifle and a repeatable precise delivery.
