My Mom lives in NJ right down the road / same town..... She lives there alone after Dad passed..... On occasion I stay there in my old room..... Do NJ firearms law allow me to leave a gun at my Mom's ???? Are there certain conditions that need to be met to do this ???

I am wanting to do some cowboy action shooting..... I am looking for some suggestions for guns.... Is it better to have matching pistols ? Which ones do you use?? Is the Stoeger Coach gun a good 12 gauge for this??? I have a Henry Steel 357 rifle currently so I am good there..... Thanks in advance for any input and suggestions....

About the fingerprints..... I am not defending or denying anything nor do I have any info on this case other than what I have read in the news....That being said , I am the owner of a small company with about 25 employees.... All get pre-employment screening by Sagem-Morpho (sp) and are archived on a regular basis for criminal history review...... On some occasions the fingerprints take longer than they should to come back from processing..... Never 2 months longer but sometimes a week or 2........... I am just putting this out here as someone who uses part of this system on a regular basis.....

Why is the guy pissed of at me???? Money...... I own a nice sized commercial property next to his. He wanted to buy it for $250,000.00 .... It's appraised at $750,000.00. It is right next to his property... I rented the complex to one of his competitors and it has hurt his business..... Not my problem..... Trying to run me over is a problem !!! Now he is looking at possible jail.... His lawyer has called several times to attempt to cut a deal..... There are no deals......

Personal friends with 2 State Senators ( way before either was a Senator) and a family member serves in the NJ Assembly...... Does being friends with these people make my need "justifiable" ??? I guess my point is does my situation by itself constitute a justifiable need ? Who my friends are should not matter... I shouldn't have to "call in a favor" to protect myself from a documented threat....

No.... I don't have a badge. Yes.... I served on the County Republican Committee for about 20 years, County Republican Executive Board for about 5 years, Elected Municipal Official for about 10 years along with a few other things.... These things do not make my need any more or less justifiable in my opinion...

Several months ago a guy threatened to kill me by running me down with his truck, Then he actually tried to follow through. The whole event was recorded on security cameras. I have the video. Lawyer hired, charges filed and court date set.... This is not the first time this guy has attempted to or threatened me with harm and this is not my first time charging him..... This is the first time I thought I may actually be physically hurt... Is this "Justifiable Need" ?????

I always apply for 3 permits.... I get one hand gun per month..... My wife says... "Can't you buy just one?"..... I alway tell her it's the law in New Jersey...... I have to get 3....... I think she knows I'm full of it and lets me get 3 anyway...... I have a very cool wife....

What did I get so far ???? Beretta PX4, Beretta 92FS Inox Compact, Sig C3, Sig P238 , S&W Model 10, Beretta CX4..... Next is the Henry Big Boy in steel 357 and a JR Carbine..... Thinking on a Sig Rifle (Patrol?) and a S&W MP 15...... I'm going to need another safe...... And also got my Utah Non Res Permit......

I really like plinking with 22's. Always did. I got my wife into shooting 22's. We have many steel targets including Action Targets Plate Rack and Dueling Tree. On a typical Saturday afternoon we would both be knee deep in 22 casings. We purchased several new 22 pistols and rifles like the Henry Golden Boy and S&W MP 15-22. 22 was plentiful and cheap and we were never planning on doing much more with this fun hobby. Then 22 kind of went away. Cheap 22 anyway..... It was really annoying..... We didn't want to shoot what we had saved up because replacing it was hard. I noticed that all the gun stores had plenty of 9mm and 38cal. Plenty of that.... I started to look at those guns. Instead of getting 22 cal replicas of guns of the old west or a cool 1911 in 22 or a S&W revolver in 22 and I would get the real deal. So that is what I did. I want to thank who ever is responsible for the 22 shortage. Without that, I would have never tried "plinking" with larger calibers. I didn't know how much fun I was missing............
