PA/NJ residences??
Oakridgefirearms replied to CageFighter's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
If you maintain a residence in NJ you could keep your NJ FPID card as is, no need to change your address to PA. If you get a PA DL you will need to get a NJ boat license if you want to buy guns in NJ as a NJ resident (when you are residing in NJ). -

Doesn't matter IF you are a member of a range that meets the standard under 2C:39-6f.(1) IF NOT, then handguns are a no go. -

Yes, if you are a member of a range that has filed a copy of it's charter with the Superintendent of the NJSP and submits an annual list of members. Notice the law does not specify where "a place of target practice" is. 2C:39-6f.(1) A member of any rifle or pistol club organized in accordance with the rules prescribed by the National Board for the Promotion of Rifle Practice, in going to or from a place of target practice, carrying such firearms as are necessary for said target practice, provided that the club has filed a copy of its charter with the superintendent and annually submits a list of its members to the superintendent and provided further that the firearms are carried in the manner specified in subsection g. of this section; -
Can't emphasize that enough, I know several people that have been seriously hurt with chainsaws. Hold the saw like it could kick back at any time or the chain might snap, keeping your legs and face out of harms way. As others have said, your chain is dull. Buy a new one and have them sharpen your old one. Don't ever let the chain touch dirt.

When Christie's Gone

Too bad he lives in New Hampshire -
Go to your PD and see if they will let you add more permits on to your pending application, many towns will. Then file for an exemption for your 3 in waiting.

No, they will be seized upon entry to the US and you'll never see them again. The only things that import easy are antiques - made before 1899

There's cheaper options than that......... OP PM sent

This^^^^^^ is if you import through an importer and it could be done for well under $1000 if the shipping out of Pakistan isn't ridiculous. There is also a way to import small amounts of firearms without going through an importer, IF you are granted a waver (or something to that effect) from US Customs, these are usually granted for one time occurrences and you will probably need to have some reason to do so (competition shooting or something like that). Either way you will need to have them sent to an FFL and do the normal paperwork and background check. Whatever you do - do not just try to ship them over without the proper paperwork set up before hand, customs will seize them and you'll never see them again. EDIT: You will probably also need an exporter in Pakistan to handle the paperwork on that end.

2 y/o accidentally shoots mom at walmart
Oakridgefirearms replied to Back on target's topic in General Discussion
When a two year old asks a question like that the answer is going to be "in heaven". He is going to forget about his mother in 6 months or less and then think it's normal for his mother to not be around, young kids adapt easily. Granted, with internet he's going to figure it out eventually, but it's probably going to be in his teen years at earliest, it's going to depend on how much the people around him tell him. -
