Just wanted to follow up here & say the trip went well. Took the 2 handguns & the AR down without any trouble. Rest stops in DE & then VA. Wish my Florida CCW came in before we left but I have it now so that's good. Shot at Outer Banks Gun Club while down there. Really friendly group of people and all members of the party (most of which were first timers) had a blast. Highly recommend. It was about an hour from our beach house in Corolla.

As far as route, we were looking at this one. Exposure to MD is about 50 miles in the Ocean City area.

Sorry to create another topic on this but I've searched & searched (both here & on the web) to no avail. Next month, I'm driving from NJ to Outer Banks, NC and I just want to know the protocol for a long gun & 2 handguns. My plan is to have them unloaded, cased, and locked in the trunk. Ammo will be separate. Am I missing anything? Bonus question, it's a long drive & we obviously have to stop. I read that stopping in DE or VA should be OK. Stopping in MD is a no-no since they are just as strict about that as PRNJ. Thanks for any help here.

I mostly shoot indoors as well, handgun &, sadly, very concussive AR. Obviously, it may not work for everyone. I didn't care for electronic because I know they don't have great NRR & they need the double up. I have the standard HLs that I use if I go with friends.

I prefer my Shun chef's & santoku knives. Ergonomic handle, very light, and balanced. My Henckels doesn't get much use after switching to Shun.

This is exactly how I have to treat mine. I have to consciously ensure that mags are fully seated, unlike PMAGs which seat easier IMO.

We have mailed a letter to you explaining this issue. This letter will include detailed instructions for resolving the matter. I wonder what exactly was incomplete because I filled everything out at GFH after an NRA class.

I actually noticed exactly this with my M&P. I felt like the small grip fit best in my hand (or even hands), but when testing at the range, I shot better with the medium and I think it's because of exactly what you said. My off hand couldn't get enough contact with the small grip. Interesting that someone else noticed this.
