This is what it looks like, you just use a punch and knock your rear sight out and install this. Not sure what type of red dot you have or looking to buy this only works for the burris. I'm sure other manufactures make similar mounts. I've never had an FFL charge me storage on a gun he sold me or one that i was having transferred. My mk3 hunter has the holes for the rail but i instead removed the rear sight and got a mounting plate for my burris fastfire 3 instead. Maybe this is an option for you?

The mud/sand was alot thinner on the AR and he banged most of it off before firing, and i agree that leaving 2 inches of caked on mud on the tavor ejection port was kinda dumb. One side of the magazine release failing was kinda interesting though.

I've shot my SAR with eo/aimpoint with a magnifier it works but had a little more trouble than on an AR. Might be my chubby cheeks though

Kings is a great store for reloaders, when i'm out that way i usually stock up on pc bullets and powders. They don't make pc in 223, think they do a 300blkout though. I usually spend more at Kings than all of Oaks gun show.

Several guys in the state that do cerakoting/gunkote seem to have FFLs now or be under another businesses FFL. Even spraying slides and stocks was considered to be gunsmithing. Not sure if it was state or atf that took issue with how they were doing business.
