If the OP does not have a carry permit (Resident or Non-Resident) from ANY State then the point of this whole thread is moot. He's asking if he can bring his handgun to his friend PA home location I'm assuming. Without any more specifics, like many have said it's completely legal to open carry in PA, the issue more lies in the actual transportation to and from your house to your friends house.

I avoid it at all costs. I work salary plus commission. I would be reimbursed for my salary but not any missed commision. I'd be completely screwed if I had to go. For County Jury duty I submit a letter of hardship explaining my circumstances and they always excuse me thankfully.

I have a quick access safe with 3 handguns in it, in my bedroom on a higher shelf. My VP9 is on the bottom shelf to get the quickest. Wife's handgun up top along with my shield. All have fully loaded mags in them. If the safe is moved enough it sounds an alarm, if the code is punched in wrong 3 times it sounds an alarm. If a burglar wanted to break into it they could, if my kids decide to fuck with it, we'll know before they can get one of our guns out.

Funny you mention this. We're in the process of trying to move to a house and once we move I want a dog, German Shepard. Wife has been adamant no dog because we already have 2 cats she takes care of. She said to me today, once we move she will compromise as long as I make it a German Shepard/Husky mix lol
