  1. Your previous posts denying that my assertion that he would get in trouble if caught with weapons outside the house/range for not having a FID and when it comes up he was denied a FID so he was circumventing NJ law. This isn't the 1A forum, this isn't the place for your trolling.
  2. Why are you encouraging people to commit felonies or give shitty advice based on no facts that could get them arrested? And criminal lawyers are basing statements off the law. Where did you study again?
  3. Criminal lawyers. Feel free to ask Nappen and ask him. He'll say the same thing. The fact that the OP is trying to circumvent NJ law by trying to purchase out of state after having been denied a FID is going to work against him.
  4. Edited already for clarity. Did the OP not go to their court date for the appeal?
  5. Without a NJ FID, you could at most keep it in your house and use it at the range, but if you are caught out of the house with it, good luck proving where you were going. Now you've been caught with a firearm and no ID with no proof of where you are going. Felony with mandatory prison time. Then there's the matter of the denied FID. You really need to find out why you were denied because you might be on a list of people banned from owning as a result of something you are unaware of. Then you'd truly be up shits creek.
  6. I think I still have around 6k rounds of CCI minimags.
  7. It's a cost-conscious kit that is decent for the money. You don't have to spend a lot of money and should easily get a feel for whether or not reloading is for you. It looks like it doesn't include dies. To start, you'll need a full body sizer die and a bullet seater (at least for .223). Crimper if you are firing semi-auto. I have not done pistol rounds but I understand it's supposed to be easier. Digital caliper. Gotta be able to measure case lengths and COALs. Looking at the shell holders you get with it, #4 will work with .223 rem, #19 for 9mm luger and .40 S&W, #2 for .45 ACP. So all the ones you need are covered in this kit.
  8. Somehow I'm not surprised Texas is #1, but it's interesting to see how across the board, everyone had the same idea to rush for ammo.
  9. Working during the day. Dog agility training. I've got weaving polls and one has picked up on it super fast. Other is still timid. Jumping they both do super well.
  10. It's definitely Cabelas. Brownells has no problem getting me crap tons of primers and powder.
  11. Pretty sure it's every shooting range in the state.
  12. They want $29.96 for 20 rounds of American Eagle 62gr .223. $1.50/rd. GTFO. Price gouging POS.
  13. Most half decent stuff is out of stock already.
  14. So I was talking to an ex-armored car guard. He mentioned that the carry permits they are given have restrictions. They do not allow the owner of the permit to carry any time. Many times they are restricted to on-duty only. And that sometimes they must store them at the office and can't carry them home. So I'd like to know whether he has any such restrictions and what they are. That could have a lot to do with the first charge of illegally carrying.
  15. Sounds like another gross overstep of the law. Unless there's something massive we don't know since the NJSP have said anything I know of, this is just absurd.
  16. Trying some alternatives for reloads. I've been using H4350 and 142gr SMK's. Haven't had a chance to shoot outdoors and chrono but I've been using 40.3 grains of H4350 and at 100 yards, 0.5 MOA is easy to achieve. But with Hodgdon being low on certain powders, I got a pound of Reloder 16 and IMR 4350 for testing alternatives. I also got some 120gr SMK's as at shorter ranges, 142gr is overkill. Can't find much info on RL16 and 120 SMKs. Sierra's handbook has data for RL15 and RL17 but not RL16. Anyone have some experience with this combo of 120s and RL16?
  17. Yea, my wife has been to China multiple times to visit family. Not shocking. Her grandmother had been told if she just drank lemon ginger tea with honey once a day, you wouldn't get the virus. And apparently a lot of people are believing that's all you have to do to not get sick.
  18. I can't imagine it'd be too big a deal at an outdoor range. Then again, I've never used any.
  19. Only because it can't be said enough, always check inside the case before seating a bullet.
  20. This is the best way to break it down. You'll be paying taxes on the money no matter what. Just a matter of strategically choosing when it'll get taxed less.
  21. I prefer Brownells. Decent prices and sales. In general, ammoseek.com is a good resource. Searches the internet and comes back with prices.
  22. He's not the one letting them out after short stints in federal prison.
  23. It's a weak federal law that is weak because Republicans refuse to do any punishments involving guns.
  24. https://www.nj.com/mercer/2020/01/out-of-prison-a-month-trenton-man-charged-with-possessing-a-firearm.html
  25. Hahaha, you think it's the Democrats pushing light punishments for crimes involving guns in Congress?
