This officer is a hero.  This is what needs to be trained for our police.  When you hear shots fired, you run towards the shots.  Each shot fired is a potential loss of life.

Someone posted somewhere a google maps view that showed how far he ran in the video.  It was pretty nuts.   Listening to him try to catch his breath made me really anxious.  
Amazing job closing on the shooter, yelling at bystanders and coordinating over the radio.
