Caine 147 Posted August 30, 2009 Didn't want to start a new thread about this since so much 10/22 info is already here. Been thinking about getting a 10/22, but, was wondering how difficult it is to change out the barrel and the stock? Is it something that can be done at home with basic hand tools? tbtrout 141 Posted August 30, 2009 Super simple.
Caine 147 Posted August 30, 2009 So no special tools required or anything? No torque wrenches to tighten down the barrel or something like that?
tbtrout 141 Posted August 30, 2009 No, if you can change batteries in a smoke detector you can change the barrel on a 10/22.

djg0770 481 Posted September 1, 2009 No, if you can change batteries in a smoke detector you can change the barrel on a 10/22. And if you can change batteries in a watch, you can change the trigger group too...
