tinyboy 1 Posted August 30, 2009 Some help por favor (press 1 if you want that in English) I am looking to use one of my permits to purchase a Desert Eagle Mark XIX Component System (DEXIX6). My questions are: Does anyone own any Desert Eagles? How about specifically this kit? Any likes dislikes for the gun? am I out of my mind (even more than normal that is) thinking of getitng this? The ammo is .50 AE, and then just regular 44 and 357 Magnum? Or is their special 44 and 357 I have to get for it. I'm sure Ill come up with more thanks tinyboy
tony357 386 Posted August 30, 2009 it is regular ammo, the 44 likes 240 gr ammo when new to break in. mine shoots all 180gr to 300 gr ammo. you cannot use a target load maximum loads work best. also no lead bullets jacketed only or you will plug up the gas port. Mauser88 0 Posted August 30, 2009 I had one back in the late 90's in .44 magnum. They like hot ammo. Big, heavy and big recoil. I sold it and never looked back.
bullpin 0 Posted August 30, 2009 I have the .50ae in brushed nickel, looks real nice.If you have the coin go for the complete package,if not make sure you get the .50 cal.also make sure you have a place to shoot something besides paper. Paper will get old really fast with this gun.GOOD LUCK!
