Where to find a Bowling Pin competition and other ?'s

Greetings,

 

Does anyone know where to find a Bowling Pin competition in the northeast NJ section?

 

Also, are there other local competitions that are more than just shooting at paper in a static shooting position?

See the threads regarding 2x4, USPSA and IDPA matches. These should answer all your questions. I don't know of any bowling pin matches though.

There are steel matches around too I believe. I dont know mutch about bowling pin shooting but Id guess the attraction is reactive targets? I love the tink of hitting steel plates!

There are plans for steel matches at Shongum starting in the Spring. I will post any updates and match dates.

Steel matches are held at both CJR&P in Jackson and the Old Bridge Rifle & Gun Club. My son has competed at both sites and gave them both a thumbs up! I have shot at CJR&P and had a great experience.

 

Looking forward to the 2x4 matches at Shongum in the spring/summer.
