Pure Gold choke tube Modified. any good??

i just ordered a pure gold modified choke tube for my rem 11-87 for trap shooting which i want to shoot competitively this summer and i read some good reviews about it and was just looking for some more input if anyone has any to give.

Sorry, not familiar with Pure Gold chokes, I did read on their website they group better. On a regulation range you would be shooting distances of 48-52 yards a full choke would be more desirable. If you start shooting handicaps you would use a super full choke. You stated competeing was your intention you will also need to get a shell catcher (ATA etiquette - they frown on empties ejecting towards other shooters or hitting the ground).

ya i already have a shell catcher and on their site it says that the choke tubes normally are 1 size tighter than normal chokes so a mod is more like a full choke
