hope the link works....(as I read it to mean)the new ruling ,when an ffl makes a temporary transfere to a non employee of the ffl(,ie like going to BA or SS

to rent a firearm) will be required to fill out form 4473 and nics for temporary transfere..the main purpose of this is because firearm manufactures send arms to different un-liciensed people(various magazines) to review/rate....

I posted this thinking NJ could interpit this as I see it and ruin places that rent firearms to people without an fid.

whats everyone else think?

So it's basically a backround check on a rental? It's plausable if your leaving the gunshop but not if your shooting on sight.

New Jersey is not a plausible place. The Rockefeller Republicans and Democrats feel any gun owner is a potential criminal and will interpret any new rules by the Feds as strictly as possible.

Before we go getting the tin foil hats on..

 

Lets be somewhat reasonable.

 

This is a FEDERAL ruling. So if this is true, it will affect EVERY range in the COUNTRY that does rentals.

 

Secondly, you usually can't take rentals outside of the range, so is that out of the control of the FFL?
