I was just looking at wood for my 6.5 Grendel build.

Precision Firearms was at the Gun Show in Bristol and they had AR wood stocks and forearms kits. They were pretty nice looking. Not something I would do, but interesting for sure.

Can't recall anything wood on an AR, except for maybe an old Armalite.

 

I also would probably pass, however should one ever need to use the weapon in defense of their home all that wood might soften the impact on the jury a bit. Surly most here already know that all black = Evil, especially in NJ.

Im thinking the wood gives a cool option for AR builds for variety. I dont think Id dress my only ar in wood... but if I had a few...

 

Rock river arms is also making wood now for about $150.
