Free Float Hanguard Install over pinned muzzle brake?

Is it possible to install a one piece free float handguard (Larue/Daniel Defense/etc.) over a pinned PWS FSC556?? I'm either very tired from working a ton of hours, or my google-fu is weak - perhaps both.

 

Specifically I'm looking to put a DD 12" lite over a pinned FSC556, with the Front sight post and bayo lug shaved down.... Can this be done? Thanks!

The main issue is if the rail can go over the front sight post/gas block. If so then there should be no issues installing any type of free float rail.

The other issue, especially with the DD lite 12.0 rails is that you need to remove the barrel nut. I don't know if that's possible if you already have the FSP and a pinned muzzle device.

The only rail system I know of that allows you to keep the barrel nut on is the DD Omega series, but that defeats the purpose since I am looking to shave/grind down the FSP and cover a mid-length gas system with rails. :?

These are free float that install without FSB or muzzle break removal. But free is a relative term when they cost about $300.

Having just gone through this with my noveske barrel and larue rail I can tell you I had to send my barrel nut to the gun smith prior to him pinning the FCS556.It had to be placed onto the barrel before the comp. was pinned. I was also able to slide the rail over the gas block without a problem. The noveske gas block is small but I still had room when I was sliding the rail over it.
