Do I need a hand gun permit for a Ruger Old Army?

Recommended Posts

Hello. Could someone tell me if I still need a handgun permit to take ownership of a Ruger Old Army black powder revolver? Thanks in advance.

You need a handgun permit to take ownership of a handgun BB gun in this state - FYI (unless it or any other firearm is willed to you)

Yes., you need the permit.

On a side note, I got a pair of them last summer. Loaded 'em up with 40 grains of black goodness. Lot's of smoke. Lot's of flame.
