Well just a little update to this, She pled not guilty:

Bridgewater woman pleads not guilty to shooting at neighbor

BRIDGEWATER – A 70-year-old Bridgewater woman pleaded not guilty today to firing a gun to scare her 43-year-old neighbor during a June 1 confrontation between the two.

Rosalyn Valachovic made the plea this morning before Judge Paul Armstrong in Superior Court in Somerville during an arraignment hearing.

The woman has been charged with second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree aggravated assault...

she should of called police before even thinking about going outside with the gun.

++++++++++++++1000000000000 trillion billion!

Call the police, lock your self inside. Point the gun at the door, and wait for police to arrive.

Sounds more like she was fed up with the guy bothering her and decided to take the matter into her own hands.

The fact still remains that you need to fear for your life in order to use deadly force, she's gonna have a very hard time proving that her life was in danger.

She could not have been too much of a threat if the guy charged her and took the gun away. The guy was probably a bully, they are real good at intimidating old ladies. Too bad she didn't put one between his eyes while he was charging her.

Technically guilty , but I would never convict her.

Let's hear some more facts before we call someone a bully and assume this was some sweet old lady. Maybe it's true and maybe the old lady was the bully.

Either way the law says the old lady is guilty. And 70 ain't that old besides. I know plenty of ladies in their 90s and a few in their 100s. Most are sweet people but a few are not ones I'd want to have pointing a gun at me.

    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
