docwalt 1 Posted September 23, 2010 Overall.... they are great shooters...8mm. But it depends on what you are looking for. That time period should have turkish or farsi wording on the receiver. Some are called Ottoman rifles. They may also have a " Toughra " on the top of the receiver. Looks like a WAWA flying duck.It represents the year of manufacture during the reign of the Sultan of the time.The sights should be in Turkish also.In 1938, the Turks decided to standardize their rifles and converted them to 8mm.
